LoU Raid Skip - Open One-Armed Bandit door

Having the skip be part of the reputation tree instead of killing the penultimate boss 3 or 4 times has been a breath of fresh air into the raid scene that I very much appreciate.

Unfortunately I think it could use a little fix to make it more useful. My guild has reached the point where we could skip one or two of the first 6 bosses but we still want to do one armed bandit.

If you take the skip to Mug’zee though, the door back to One Armed is locked, and in order to get to one armed bandit you have to defeat all 6 of the previous bosses to ‘arm the bomb’ and open the door. It puts one armed bandit pinched in the middle and sort of awkard. If the door was just open when you activated the skip, letting the last 3 bosses be quickly farmable that would be a huge QOL.

TLDR: Skip doesn’t let you fight One Armed Bandit, you have to clear everything before him to fight him.

Isn’t this how the skips have always worked? If you took the skip to Broodkeeper Diurna, if didn’t let you back out to immediately pull Dathea for instance.

Sometimes it blocks you sometimes it does not. But to get to Diurna you only needed to fight Eranog then Primal council then you could fight Dathea, and after skip to brood. One armed is 6 bosses and a huge minefield of trash with very rare loot on him and nice trinkets.

I can see why they did it the way they did, but it would have been much nicer to have a choice of being able to blow open the gallagio door OR go directly up to tower of spades.

Pretty cool they did implement this last night. It still doesn’t solve the horrible run-back to Bandit for groups progging it who have no one with the skip, but it’s a great step for those that do.
