Lotta players can afford epic flying apparently

You were googling it?

Why would you do that?

Curiosity.

Curious players are guilty imo.

We’re all guilty.

I know I’m not. But since you’re using the collective “we” here, you’re admitting you are.

If Blizz ever releases the wow token into TBCC I would walk away from the game permanently. I struggled to get that epic flying mount because while I was raiding T4 I still had to gem/enchant newly acquired gear. Consumes ect
And I only have limited time to play. And it became even harder when T5 launched because the raid commitment increased to a full 6 hours a week not to mention time to farm for consumes. However I eventually did get my epic flying and felt like I accomplished something.

If the wow token was in game I may have bought one. Took the short cut got my flying and wouldn’t have felt an accomplishment at all. This is why I don’t play retail. It’s too easy to not do the work and that work is what makes the game fun.

Oh most definitely bought gold. Same with seeing TONS of people walking around in the Kara BOE cloth robe they bought in ah for gold

It takes mere days of farming to get enough gold for an epic flying. Hell, you can get one by completing all the quests @ 70.

At this point, if you still don’t have an epic flyer, you’re just lazy.

If PvP was a good incentive for gold I would be rich.

Okay fine you just PvP. Everyone knows there’s no gold to be had there. Why are you accusing everyone who has an epic flyer of buying gold? You know better.

Assuming is not accusing.

Yeah, it’s wrong because you KNOW better. Why would you even start a thread like this?

For discussion.

Is it wrong that when I see a poster bringing up a “discussion” involving a false premise that my first thought is that they’re a troll?

No, everyone should have an opinion.

What do you mean false premise? Are you saying that you think most do not buy gold? Bots are running rampant for nothing?

I started TBC with a little over 6k gold. After buying my 1st epic flyer I was down to 300 gold. I did all the remaining quests I could and sold some crafting materials. I was back up to 11k gold in a couple of weeks. I just got Swift Flight Form on my Druid and along with a load of raid supplies I am down to 3.5k gold again. I have never bought gold or sold boosts. I quest, raid, and run dungeons mainly, with a little farming for mats to make personal consumes. It’s not hard to get gold in TBC unless you only pvp.

Why do players feel like they have to tell me their life story as to how they got gold?

I don’t care, lol

I don’t know you so you could be lying to make yourself seem legit anyway.

You’re the one assuming that people bought gold due to your inability to get it even though it’s not hard.

People are just explaining that they didn’t.

Why? I never asked.
