So yea…you log on and see a gift and think wow how awesome…new pet or mount?? What will it be?? You open it and see 200 timewalking badges…hmm ok and oh there is a letter. The letter says for you to travel to the main city and get a quest from… for WoW 13th Anniversay…how about that…Just like last year since this is the 14th Anniversay. You go to see what you can get for you 200 tokens and you can get a toy of the same pet from last year. Don’t know about the others but I was greatly disappointed.
It’s the 14th anniversary. I was surprised we got what we did, to be honest. Usually we get less. Yes, last year’s things are there, but it’s helpful for leveling alts. I’d be disappointed if this happened for the 15th. Pretty sure the only time we got a mount was for the 10th.
10th offered Molten Core (what a fun, laggy mess) with a mount and Southshore vs Tarren Mill (more stable than it is currently) with a title. Wish something similar would happen again. The world bosses are a decent idea, would be cool with a mount.
Despite everything else it is still a 14% unlimited XP/REP boost that you can use until Nov 30th. This just smacks of gift-horse mouth imo. But whatever.
Corgi goggles one of the best toys ever made
You poor thing. :’(
It helped my alt go up like 10 item levels though.
I collect Battle Pets, Toys and Mounts. Those 200 Timewalking Badges collected by an army of ALTs are just what I need.
For me it was the best Anniversary Gift Ever!
Corgi Goggles greatly improve loading screen times for me. Apparently it is far easier to render a pack of Corgis than all that flashy player gear.
I don’t know how much work put in this Anniversary Gift besides copy and paste, but when I mouseover the letter that begins the quest “Interesting Times,” it says “Requires WoW’s 13th Anniversary”
I just wish they gave you the option to buy past anniversary pets/mount. For example 1000 badges for the Molten Corgi, Blizzard Bear and Tiny Onyxia, and 5000 (or more!) for the Core Hound.
lol expecting a pet or mount for 14th anniversary.
It’s the 14th anniversary, not the 20th.
