Lots of agents, CPU at 100%

Hey. As you know it’s been more than a month and it still has not been fixed yet. The macbook M1 or M2 chips cannot run this game from a scratch at all. If you want to download the game, it keeps saying initializing or waiting for another update, or you get the known error, meanwhile the agents in the activity monitor keeps stacking up and are eating the cpu up to 100% till the macbook starts lagging as hell.

How long is it going to take? It’s been a month. I still cannot believe that engineers are not able and competent to fix this known issue. People have paid for the subscription and cannot play this game(including myself.)

What are you going to do with those played-time days that have been lost due to this issue? Are not you supposed to fix these issues as soon as possible? I think a month is definitely not “asap.”

That must be frustrating, although I don’t feel that’s a accurate statement for everyone

We have WoW running from scratch on two Mac Studios (M1 & M2), MacBook Pro 13" M1 (16G Ram), a MacBook Pro 16" M1 Pro (32G), a MacBook Air 13" M1 (8G) as well as a MacBook Air 15" M2.

The reason I mention it is that last model, the MacBook Air 15" M2, was literally fresh out of the box yesterday - downloaded and installed WoW and was playing in about 30ish minutes.

So why is it running successfully on 4 different MacBooks (from scratch) and it’s not running on yours. Perhaps there’s an environment difference, OS difference or other installed software causing the issue.

I am not saying there’s no issues, but I think it would be more productive include specs in a bug report and if you’ve not done so, attempt to eliminate other variables and include that as well.

Sometimes, as a test, creating a fresh user account and try installing or better yet, make a Time Machine backup, erase the Mac, install a fresh OS and try it.

You can always restore from Time Machine after that.

Just trying to help as we’ve had generally good success installing and running on fresh Macs.
