How sweet. Frat boy married himself a junkie. It’s like WoW’s version of Pretty Woman.

J/k. That’s a nice story.

Omg werk I guess

I hope they have babies and launch the new and improved most powerful elf race of all time.

World Of Elfcraft only grows stronger by the day.

This also confirms the time skip of several years, since now we have confirmation of it occurring and described by both factions.

I can’t imagine they would look or do anything too differently from the existing nightborne. The race’s entire appeal was already based on the foundation of night elf-esque physiques with blood elf mannerisms.

Thalyssra and Lor’themar’s kids might get paler and shorter. But beyond that, not much is gonna change.

Meanwhile the humans of Stormwind don’t even have mixed children lol

It’s really more inter-species than interracial, though.

 This is incredibly short-sighted at best, and feels contrived & forced at worst.

Lor’themar became a compelling character because his sense of duty forever kept the carrot of a personal life dangling out of reach, and that sense of willing sacrifice and self-denial simultaneously gave the audience something to sympathize over AND to strive for-- we want him to be happy, yes, but also appreciate the selflessness he’s embodied and all want to be that kind of selfless individual. The whole thing with Thalyssra removes all of that.

Oh gee thanks because even with the title, I now know something is gonna happen with those two.

I’m kind of sitting here thinking marriage really has no place in WoW. Why should we care about any of these characters’ love lives?

A character finding time for himself and the things he wants during a period of several years worth of downtime, instead of being a paragon of selflessness 24/7, isn’t bad writing.

Characters gotta evolve, if they don’t get to grow they’ll just stagnate and be forgotten like he was for the majority of his time in this game.

And this has been unfolding organically since Legion. It’s not forced.

We all had to sit through Thrall’s wedding in-game in cataclysm. Two characters getting hitched off-screen is pretty tame in regards to this game’s history.

This game is an RPG with thousands of different characters, the world doesn’t really feel alive if not even the main characters do anything.

It’s a few lines of text, you don’t have to read it or care.

Its still annoying dude.

Its like when people go “wuel not to spoil anything but dont get attached” about a character. Like wow gee thanks mate

Sorry side tangent. Just irritating now knowing at least SOMETHING is gonna happen. Other folks have made similar threads about other things with spoilers right in the title so I was venting a bit
