If you don’t have the capability to adapt to the ever changing world then you deserve to be lost to the darkness of time.
Take of it what you will.

But who would buy all the things?
You talking about IRL or game ?
Man this may hit harder if/when the singularity drops
The irony of this being posted in a 20-year-old game forum, lol.
I guess you could say WoW failed to adapt in quite a few ways. But, as an MMORPG it might always come up short compared to single-player experiences.
It’s still a decent game though- best MMO PvP in my opinion.
Housing is definitely a feature “for me”.
Please let me be lost to time already
I’ve been ready for so long now
I take of it you’re not as profound as you think you sound.
Additionally noting is lost to time more than time itself.
I can sound like a fortune cookie too.
Sadly both but predominantly real life. Something changes and individuals lose their minds instead of adapting and making the changes needed to succeed.
books and museums and country roads and flying over deserted places of the world in a plane made in the 1960’s have been decent substitutes for me
I’m stuck in a waiting room of sorts… for a few reasons I won’t mention here. Too depressing.
I wish I could turn back time (thank you Cher) and do things differently, but that would mean I’d have to remember all that has happened.
It’s quite the conundrum.
Being lost to time is painfully slow. I want time to run me over like a train but instead it’s pulling me like quicksand. My feet are already gone now, and I can’t move out. My calves are covered, it’s up to my kneecaps. It seemed gentle when I took the first step, but with pressure it feels like shards of glass.
Been part of this, through this account and another that is no longer here, for most of those 20 years. Some of the changes I never agreed to and still don’t but have learned to roll with the punches.
Regardless of how I feel about Blizzard or what direction they go, WoW is still the goat of MMOs. May not like end game content or want to go through the grind of gearing up, but the amount of content still here provided still surpasses every other MMO.
There’s just a VIBE and feel with WoW that keeps me hooked…even if I dislike things, big and small and even if I take breaks…that itch remains that other MMOs just never replace or fulfill that dont hit for me
I googled this for you so I could try to figure out how to help.
Apparently you need to do calf stretches and exercises.
may I offer you some Money instead of Cher?
I could never switch. If WoW were to no longer exist…I’d probably go back to console games and only use my computer to write.
Sorry if someone hurt you. Was not trying to be profound nor a fortune cookie quote. Hope your day goes great for you.
Oh, RIP Eddie Money.
Gone too soon. Just like Niel Peart.
they, too, have a great song about the passage of time. and this is an amazing tribute to Neil. i remember when this was posted.
I do feel a sense like time is fleeting (gosh darn it, Time warp).
Every time someone from my childhood passes…I feel older.
