Hello.
Recently I changed factions to Alliance. Since doing this I noticed I lost my portal to Nazjatar which should be appearing in the Boralus portal room. To remedy this, I tried to go back to the BFA intro quests as well as the Nazjatar intro quests, but none of the original quest givers will acknowledge me.
Any pointers while I wait for my support ticket to update?

Hmm you should have several random quests you would need to complete.
Just to get the simplest question out of the way, do you have Trivial Quest tracking turned on? It is off by default. You can check and (if needed) turn it on by clicking the small magnifying glass by your minimap and selecting Trivial Quests from the drop down.

It’s intended design. There are different quests that chain to unlock the naz port depending on your faction. Once you faction changed, you no longer did the requisite quests to unlock the portal. You must hunt down the quest chain for your new faction and do the quests to unlock it for the first time (on that faction).
Many expansions are like this. Horde and alliance have completely different quests. Doing quest X on alliance does not equal doing quest Y on horde faction and visa versa. The only time where this is not the case is when the same quest presents itself to both factions.
I realize this, and thats why I hunted down all the quest givers for the equivalent quests, right down to the very start of the BFA story. None of the givers have anything to say to me at all. They all act like I’ve already completed their story arcs.
You may need a ticket if you’re not finding the Alliance campaign available. I’ve seen other instances on the forums where changing faction locked a player out of the other-faction equivalent campaign, and that was the advice.
I’m gonna necro this because I currently have (possibly had if this fixes it) the same issue and am curious if you ever fixed it? I just found a stormwind guard right by the old zone quest board in the trade district who had the “Battle for Azeroth: Tides of War” quest… Literally the main questline and it does not show up on the map when trivial quests is ticked. I completed every quest available in the BFA zones along with the patched in zones and became frustrated.

ive the same problem. I change the faction and i miss my portals to nazjatar. I did a serverls tickets and NOTHING.
Just figured this out on my hunter I faction changed after doing everything campaign wise on horde, what solved for me was going to stormwind and starting the bfa intro quest at anduin, sent me to docks, talked to jaina, and was able to get the Nazjatar intro quest after a few quick intro boralus quests.
Now if only I could figure out how to get the quest to start “old soldier”, I even went and completed the nazjatar jaina campaign up to and including killing queen in raid. I went back to alliance hub and jaina has no more available quests. I’m worried that I’ll have to do the entire questline on the hunter for alliance even tho I did the entire thing on another alliance alt
