Lost my spot this week in ulduar (warrior)

Look I don’t think warriors need a buff but there’s no need to be vile towards a person. Be respectful even if you think you’re right

Bladestar if it’s your performance I highly suggest that you touch base with fight club and maybe see areas where you could improve. Part of the logs is because your group doesn’t have great kill times and that’s a big factor. I’m assuming there are areas you maybe can’t see and maybe your class discord could assist you in finding that. A straight buff won’t overcome a spec not being played optimally so I’d start with your discord first

Sounds about right, not only do you suck you also give up easily lol. Such a low bar to set my guy.

he already plays better than 99 parsing warriors dude its just the gear, why would he need the advice of some nerds on a discord

It’s not a matter of improvement, I play the class just fine.

Peepohey knows as well as I do warrior is highly gear dependent and that’s what he’s sidling over. His metrics follow the same format as mine in the same composition when it comes to fights. He just has more gear. You can look for yourself where he stacks up in terms of the dps % of his raid versus my raid, the % of damage done by abilities relative to one another.

The only difference is the average crit and hit amounts.

A #2 warrior won’t be able to get gear, as they won’t be able to get raids.

If that’s what you think then best of luck to you.

Don’t feel bad brother. I’m better than 97 percent of warriors in the video game. Anyone on the forums can go and see that warrior single target is the absolute worst in the game, I made a post proclaiming that ret and eveything below needs a buff… And ON GOD, there were people responding that no frost mage is good, and subtlety is good. The date is right there, people doing 30 percent less. You can’t win bro. No reason to post anymore.

He’s actually already been given this advice by me like uhhh 2-3 weeks ago. Instead they just want to complain on these forums and that is why they deserve to be clowned on.

You can look for yourself, check IC for me and peepohey, he’s a 99th parsing fury warrior.

The composition (%) of ability dmg is the same, suggesting we’re doing the same rotation. You can look at where he stacks up in his guild, about 10th just like me. The only difference is the magnitude of numbers being put out.

In fact, I’m 13th in my raid and he’s 16th. The difference is that they’re all parsing 99th percentile.

I’ll take players who have never hit a target dummy for 1000 Alex.

Just be a ret paladin and be dead last on damage at 99% parse.

I don’t even need to use my “utility” except on XT.

Ret paladins have argued that case, but for the time being paladins have S tier tanking and S tier healing.

Warriors are C tier tanks, and C or F tier dps.

I took a look at one fight (Ignis) and can see you cleaving adds for absolutely no reason.

Which week? I’m looking at my most recent and I’m definitely not cleaving.

Like actually using cleave or is it just whirlwind? WW is used for single target.

Your last Ignis kill you were cleaving adds. You also don’t have a belt buckle in your belt, you’re missing a 16 strength gem.

Damage to Ignis adds isn’t counted:

https://classic.warcraftlogs.com/reports/XWPHy3TGc2jCzVKm#fight=5&type=damage-done&source=150

You can see that his cleave damage only counts to Ignis there.

yes and 16th is fine, considering vezax and hodir exist, they add millions to range dps and we had a vez hardmode wipe also, which double buffs the ranged on overall, i still did 7k dps overall which is more than fine, it’d be the top dps in like 3/4 of raids

i’m gonna go ahead and press X to doubt. if you are like this on the forums, you are like this in game.

Not true at all. I only came on the forums to argue the case for warriors after the ret buffs started (you can check for yourself) and was inlaid by astroturfing of my threads by paladins claiming no further balancing was required.

Now here we are.

Maybe to try and help the parse? That’s usually the case when I see someone doing that. They are just not keen on the boss parsing rules.

Boss Changes

As always, all trash mobs are excluded from boss parsing. All Hard Modes rank higher than lower difficulties.

Example:

Player 1 does 3k DPS on Hodir HM. Player 2 does 4k DPS on Hodir non-HM. Player 1 ranks higher as every HM parse ranks higher by default.

Flame Leviathan

This boss is removed from character pages, All Star Points etc. It is still included in boss speed.

Ignis the Furnace Master

Only the killing blow on Iron Construct (ID: 33121) counts for damage parses.

Razorscale

Only Damage Done to Razorscale counts for parses, and Phase 1 is counted as Downtime.

XT-002 Deconstructor

Damage done to XM-024 Pummellers is excluded.

The Assembly of Iron

Damage done to boss mobs before they heal up to full is excluded.

Damage done during Overwhelming Power is normalized.

Kologarn

Damage done to Rubble is excluded.

Damage done to Left Arm and Right Arm only counts if they die.

Auriaya

Damage done to Swarming Guardian is excluded.

Hodir

There are no adjustments on this boss, all damage and adds count, but Hodir is removed from All Stars and Complete Raid.

Bringing Storm Power from Hodir to other bosses invalidates that boss kill + Complete Raids.

Thorim

Phase 1 is removed, and only damage done to Thorim counts. Using Aura of Celerity invalidates the rankings on the boss and the Complete Raid (Speed, Boss Fight, and Boss/Trash) rankings.

Freya

Damage done to Freya before her last overheal is excluded.

Mimiron

Downtime is removed during phase transitions.

General Vezax

On Hardmode only: Downtime and damage done between General Vezax reaching 5% health for the first time and Saronite Animus (ID: 33524) spawning is removed

Yogg-Saron

There are no adjustments on this boss, all damage and adds count. Overkill damage is obviously excluded, as that is excluded from everything by default.

Algalon

Damage done to Living Constellation, Dark Matter, and Unleashed Dark Matter is excluded.

It’s pretty much this. I wasn’t aware of parse rules (you can check old IC parses). It just looks nicer in your guild when you’re actually somewhere on the visible meters since for many single target fights warriors trail heavily.

Plus I sometimes just get into the pattern given trash.

I appreciate the buckle advice, something actually usable. But it doesn’t matter because nobody will take warriors on and my spot is already gone.
