Shouldve parsed better than the other warrior
Unfortunately he’s 99th percentile and I got to fury late in WoTLK. However my parses are above other dps members in the raid and I don’t blame them for still taking the other dps given their utility is higher and dps comparatively is the same or higher (even with lower parses).
It’s a real shame that Blizz and forum-goers want to put their fingers in their ears about this. I’m sure I’m not the only warrior this has happened or is happening to.
The savage irony is as someone who discusses the matter a lot, I realise they probably made the right call.
You wouldn’t bring a 2nd dps warrior for the same reason you wouldn’t bring a 2nd resto druid or a 2nd disc priest. If you truly see it as losing your spot to a warlock, rather than losing your spot to the other warrior, then there is no reasoning with you.
Priests have holy and druids have three other PvE niches.
I can’t respec arms to supplement for utility, nor can I just switch over to a tank position when two are already in place. In fact I’m a better tank than I am a dps (as I mentioned). The spots just aren’t there given prot paladin is a must-have for tank #1 spot and much of the time #2.
I’d find another guild that needs a warrior but they’re non-existent. It’s actually more likely to get raid time as a benched #2 warrior than it is to go on the open market, even at my parselogs and gearscore.
Yea I think we should buff disc priest, people only want to bring 1 into raids.
Why do you lie so much rofl? And about such obvious stuff?
Yall haven’t done half the hard modes. It is literally impossible for your dps to have 99 parses.
Try again
I mean you can have his name if you want. Will you then finally admit I’m not lying? Or will you just move the goalposts again.
I will say this tho, that even in current game melees are generally not favored and rarely you want to stack multiple melee of the same classes. If you wanted a safe raid spot ranged always had an easier time.
Show me the 99 parsing warrior who is in your raid and I will 100% admit I was wrong here
I’ll wait
Regardless, even at my raid performance given above I still understand why I’m overlooked.
I’ll try the ‘viability’ argument for Pugs this week, everyone on the forum seems to think it’s a gamechanger. We’ll test it out and see how it goes.
Imsosalty orc warrior, arugal.
He’s actually not fully 99th I just realised but he does have a 99 in his mix. Going to delete it after you verify.
That means you guys suck anyways if they replacing you now. Haven’t you already made 30 threads about warriors losing raid spots now? Like we get it you want a buff but really gotta lie and act trashy?
I haven’t made one of an actual occurrence, no.
That’s because you guys suck.
Somehow that doesn’t follow from what I said. But I understand them not wanting to suck as much by not saturating their raid with warriors.
Sims always come with a grain of sand. They tend to lean on optimal conditions. But make no mistake, a class that sims well will perform well if in the hands of a player who can utilize them. You can have a spec sim on top and not be top in a raid, but you won’t see then sim on top and end up towards the bottom.
I’d rather specs sit and wait than have constant knee jerk responses. I think it’s detrimental to the game and disrespectful to the playerbase at this point.
For one… He has literally 1 99 rofl, on Kologarn… As Arms rofl…
And he also has never raided with you OR your guild.
Why lie? Did you think no one was going to check?
Stop, stop! He’s already dead!
A bit late for that given ferals had over 9000 changes and reverts at this point
What difference does it make? I didn’t lie, I said he was 99th percentile. If that’s for one fight so be it. I honestly misremembered and just recalled “99th”
Again I ask, what difference does it make? He parses higher than me, that’s the integral fact here.
No need to make mistakes twice right?
I feel feral was a very different situation than warriors, but you’ll never convince others of this so the conversation is moot.
