Come on, Blizzard. You KNOW if you do that it will still not be good enough for those people.

I was waiting for this ever since I saw it, I knew it would start a fire.

I half wondered if Saiphas didn't include it in the other thread because he missed it, or because he knew it would be like dousing the forum in napalm.

Lena, give it a rest. If this means Blizz FINALLY makes a resounding "NO" over them asking time and time again for the headcanonish Mary Sue version of the Belf race they love so much to circle jerk about in their thread, let them take this.

It would be a good compromise to give cosmetical blue eyes to Belves too...

If Blizzard gave Void Elves customization options to make them look more like High Elves, Blood Elves will lose the blue eyes they suddenly care about.

The fact that Blizzard doesn't disavow the possibility of High Elves being playable as a stand-alone race or adding High Elf specific customization options to existing races doesn't amount to much.

They simply don't want to give a definite answer one way or another because, yes, there is the possibility that those things could happen even if unlikely.

That's what I got from watching Alex in that video.

But they gave a definite answer. Ion outright said no and if you wanted to be a High Elf roll Horde.

Ion also said that Zandalari Druids would only have unique travel forms but share the same animal forms as the regular trolls.

Changing their minds (or development changing enough to allow it) is one thing, but outright saying "well they never said no" is flat out wrong.

Meh, they're still drinking deep from the grape kool-aid. There will still be plenty of folks (a few I could easily name, but won't) who will see this and scream it's not good enough 'cuz they're still Void Elves.

I would actually vastly prefer Void Elves to High, and by extension Blood, Elves if they felt like less of an Asspull on blizzards part.

They didn't get asked "What about High Elves?" and then respond with, "Oh yeah, might do some customization options for them with Void/Blood Elves."
