Every time I find myself in the Lost City of Tol’vir, people want to take the “shortcut” to the crocolisk boss.
This always seems to take more time and trouble than simply killing the trash to that boss, especially when you’ve got people who aren’t as nimble with jumping ingame. And after the boss, you have to kill that trash anyway!
Am I missing something?
They want to skip all the trash afterwards too, but that always gets someone killed and winds up taking more time. I’ve seen the skip performed correctly ONCE
Everything in this game is boring except muh DPS and muh raids.
I’ve never had any issues, and if it isn’t a twilight protocol you can just do the boss with 3 or however many make it

I usually do not do the skip to the Croc boss, takes more time than just doing one trash pack, going across the bridge, then boss time.
I do enjoy the run to the skip before the second to last boss though. Usually goes well when people communicate what’s happening.
Nah, just run through it till the hiding spot. It takes less than a minute to kill that trash pack though so its not a big deal to do it.

That was pretty much my point, im sure it fails sometimes but overall i’ve saved a lot of time with it
I do it mainly to break up the monotony of the dungeon. Ultimately I don’t really think the skips in Lost City save that much time over the potential of running back. Either way I go with the majority choice of each group.
No, you’re not missing anything. Skips are high risk, usually fail, and end up costing more time.

Skips are only worth it if 4/5 of your group is premade.
Teaching 1 person to do it is worth it.
Trying to teach 2 or more is a waste of time.
The dungeon has been out for over a year now in classic. The skip has been done in every single group I ran with pug or not in twilights without issue. It’s so easy, like literally basic movement mechanics 101, run then jump… and skipping the second half is still faster than clearing it even if you have to rez people.
Bold of you to assume everyone playing now has been for the past year. Don’t forget a new player can buy a boost and jump right into these dungeons.
Don’t jump right into the hardest version of a dungeon you’ve never done then. Stop griefing.
You wouldn’t log into retail hit cap and go into a mythic raid or a m+ 10, why would you go straight into twilights?
What are you talking about? This is THE cata classic experience in heroics lol. It’s not about IF you will get these people in your groups it’s about how many of them you will get lol.
I’ve done the skip at least 50 times and I’ve never had an issue. The only issue is the skip after the croc boss. Usually someone gets left behind and dies because they weren’t paying attention and then they just get kicked.
