Which one would be better to get from?
Also I live in Asia, and one of the listed countries, has anyone used a VPN effectively. I read something about needing a NA steam account to make it work and a VPN.

Didn’t they release this in South Korea, and shouldn’t you have whatever option they use?
Unless that version is only in Asian languages, which may or may not be an issue for you.
Honestly, though, I personally use Steam for everything, even from game companies that might have their own launcher. Did this with BF2042 (although that causes a bit of a hassle when it shouldn’t).
