Lost 4 bag spaces and I have an up to date Authenticator!

I have an authenticator linked to my phone. I just checked it and yes, it’s still there and working. But, when I logged into my character, it has taken the 4 extra slots away and says I need to get the authenticator.

I’m running a lot of alts and I need to make sure I have bag space. Could you please check into this and fix it. I appreciate it.

The old authenticator is no longer supported. Did you upgrade to the new battle net app ?

Also, the four extra bag spaces are for having both an active authenticator and Battle.net Phone Notifications (i.e., “SMS protect”).

Where is this “SMS protect”, please? I’m finding nothing helpful when I google and nothing on my iphone… One place said to go to messages in settings and select “lock” but there is no “lock” under messages.

The instructions I find say to click “Authenticator” in the app and it will proceed from there but all it does is tell me there are no new requests.
