You can try ffxiv in the mean time I guess. It’s really hard for me to get into because of the aesthetic, but all of the gameplay is actually really good.

But ESO is beeeetter! New expansion just came out too and it’s super cool so far.

Opinions, of course but… I did not care for FF14.

I’d recommend you watch that video, because for me being a person whose stuck in the WoW mindset, the game at first glance makes -1% sense.

Like dude I almost cried when I found out that this game has a

2.5 second GCD

In terms of GCD that’s like 6.0221415*10^23 quintillion years for me. I quit the game now because of the GCD, but honestly I wish someone told me earlier that like it gets better at the endgame because apparently the classes in this game actually have a lot of abilities which is pretty cool and your main abilities part of your rotation aren’t on the GCD.

dude I want to like the game but it just doesn’t feel fluid when I use abilities its like im on a weird casting thing even when I use melee abilities

Yeah ESO is a good game too.

OP, if you find that you don’t like being surrounded by anime twink catboys all day, ESO is actually a very good MMORPG too. Alas I couldn’t get into that either.

I feel like no MMORPG is going to do it for me other than Classic.

I literally bought my sub with gold because I didn’t even want to torch my money on this expansion.

Here’s hoping that I can get beta access with that.

Best thing is you can play to 35 without paying (ffxiv.) There is no other limitation, really.

That is why I Dl’d it, to also see if it ran great in Linux like Wow does (it does.) So then I started paying for a sub.

I’m going to try this. I was not a fan of elder scrolls online in any of its renditions over the years. I might even do some looking into playing some solo rpgs.

So much better than anime the MMO… I tried final fantasy and between not being able to even jump and the tutorial city being massive I couldn’t even figure out how to leave the place and all I ended up doing was going around in circles for an hour and then uninstalling. I don’t understand how an mmo can exist that doesn’t just allow you to jump off a bridge into the ocean to get out of an awful city.
