All day today I have had random loss of connection with game server. This is pre and after maintenance. This also occurred in the evening hours. My drives are updated and there is nothing wrong with my internet connection. I have scanned the game for corrupted files and done a pure reinstall. Don’t know if any other players are having the same issue.
I’m sure some have experienced a connection issue, but I’d need more information specific to your connection issue.
Updated drivers and windows, which is a good thing, might not play into your connection issue specifically.
Knowing what error you received would be a start. What kind of internet you use, where you connect from. Wifi, wired, cable/fiber/satellite/etc.
Yeah I’m having the same problem. I’ve gone and checked all of my computer updates as well as graphics drivers. I get knocked out of game. I go to the Windows Network troubleshooting and test everything. Updated network drivers as well just in case. Network troubleshooter comes back and says I have internet access. Try to get into the game lets me in but then it will vary how long before I get dropped again. Done this rountine over the last 3 days
There is no connection problem on my end. My character stutter steps and when I get kicked out its while I am flying. My FPS is normal and I run very few addons Elvui, Vuhdo, and Weak Auras, which has never been an issue in my 20 years of playing this game. This began as of yesterday with the random disconnects.
