Lorewise what would happen if a naaru purified an Orc who drank the blood of mannaroth

Would they go back to how they used to look or would they be changed once again?

Would anything happen at all ? Orcs pass the green skin down to their children, who are perfectly uncorrupted. Maybe with time it’s turned into a genetic trait

Honestly? Whatever the writers want. Apparently we can drop Fel green eyes but we can also get golden eyes due to a short exposure to a new Sunwell. This was described as a weaker form of what the Orcs suffered.

Whatever mood Danuser is in unfortunately this has never been encountered to my knowledge but lore is constantly changing.

Fel corruption leaves a lingering taint that fades over multiple generations unless actively purged. Your best analog be with the Blood Elves, who got tainted by the Burning Crystals. The Sunwell’s Light energy has been purifying them for a few years now, and the signs of their taint have faded—Most have blue or even golden eyes now.

Likewise the green would fade from their skin, and depending on how much mojo the Naaru used they might instead become ‘light tainted’ and exhibit other symptoms akin to the glowing eyes of the Mag’har Lightbound.

Lightforging doesn’t have any hereditary effects. Lightforged Draenei don’t produce produced Lightforged children, and they’ve been around the Light more than the Blood Elves; millennia on a Naaru ship under command of a Prime Naaru vs less than a decade supping from a Light-infused magic well.

While you might have a point about losing the green skin, that seems to be random, and the only other confirmed effects are gold tattoos, gold eyes and lengthened lifespans (sometimes to the point of immortality).

Then again, Blizzard hasn’t cared about lore consistency in the past, even though they should. I wish they wouldn’t keep retconning the story on a whim, especially to shill their flavor of the month characters.

To be fair, if Lightforging did what you said, it’d be pretty awesome. Gold-colored skin and immortality, I can think of worse fates.

In that case the Void is no problem provided you get rid of the Void Lords whispering into your head as well as the Sin that the Nathrezim have been dumping into the Void.

Naaru have just as much connection to Light Users as the Void Lords have to Void Users yet they aren’t suggesting insanity like the Void Lords are.

Of course the Void Lords had Nathrezim whispering into their heads so the Nathrezim should be blamed for the Void’s insanity.

Y’Shaarj even follows Revendreth’s Sin theme which should tell you how bad the Nathrezim corrupted the Void with the harvested Sins from Sinners.

Void before the Nathrezim got at it and Light are both just cool modifications.

In Void’s case before Nathrezim it is Purple & Tentacles while in the Light’s case it is White, Skin, Gold Markings and Golden Eyes.

The Sha(Pride, Wrath, Desire for Violence, Doubt, Despair and Dread) and Nightmare(Dread) are Sin-tainted Abominations! Denathrius and Zovaal’s fears over what is to come have led to them corrupting the Void and Chaos heavily with Sin!

Nathrezim dumping Sin into the Void? When and where did this happen? If what you’re saying is true, that opens up a lot of questions and story ideas.

Also, unlike Lightforging, I don’t think getting Void-formed gives you immortality. I don’t mind the purple skin or eyes, though gold tattoos are a smaller change than tentacle hair.

At least the Nathrezim are welcomed into their ranks with open arms and Y’Shaarj is notably tied to 7 Vices just as Revendreth is even if some of the Sha Vices are 4 of Revendreth’s Vices(Wrath, Dread, Desire and Pride) divided and combined in various ways(Doubt, Despair, Violence, Hatred, Anger, Fear and Pride) so one would assume that Y’Shaarj at the least is the result of Nathrezim corruption of the Void.

Oh becoming one with the void probably makes you immortal. It also usually sort of turns you into a knock off Illithid.

The fine print always gets you.

Don’t they have an Illithid-equivalent in WoW with the C’thraxi? Or something else?

Possible, depends how far back this went.
