We’ve seen a few Demon Hunters exploding in Legion.
I think every Demon Hunter spell should give them a chance of misfiring, causing the character to explode. The Demon Hunter itself dies instantly, while anyone else (friend or foe) takes massive AoE damage.
That chance should be something low. Like 10%.
To be fair it should be a stacking 10%, so everytime or doesn’t go off the next chance is 10% higher

So when demon hunters are mainly fel based, how do these Void demon hunters work out, I wonder.
If my demon hunter explodes and takes out the big bad plus half the party is that a win? I think it is a win. Others will probably think differently.

Well, the information that is 100% given from Blizzard about the Devourer spec is pretty similar to that:
Eye beam. Fel rush. Fel spike. Fel this. Fel that.
The light doesn’t damage Undead. (unless of course it’s a spell meant to damage things)
The light hurts Undead in that it restores feeling to their decaying bodies, which is not a pleasant sensation. But it doesn’t cause any physical harm. (Again unless the spell is intentionally for harming them)
They are Demon contractors.
They get paid in Soul Shards and Nutella.
Why Nutella? Because it’s made of souls. Just look at Gorefiend and you will know it’s true lol
Ehhh the void devours the fel and replaces it. When they switch specs back, they gotta go hunt a new demon.
