Lorewalker cho is telling lies

in the magatha story he claims the alliance helped baine retake thunder bluff when it was actually garrosh. rewriting garroshs deeds to suit his aims

They have to be trolling us at this point. Baine straight up runs away wetting himself from the Grimtotem, and who does he run to? Anduin and Jaina. Hilarity.

Lorewalker Cho also sounds like Havi…

Odyn is no stranger to speaking lies to people.

Baine ran to Anduin and Jaina and only got a Mace out of the deal before invading Thunder Bluff himself while Garrosh denies Magatha aid(don’t remember if he sent aid to Baine himself though…).

Didn’t jaina give him a sack of gold as well

I’m pretty sure that’s true to history. IIRC Jaina funded Baine’s reclamation of Thunder Bluff while Garrosh, who didn’t want Mags as an ally but figured he’d made an enemy of Baine in killing Cairne, chose to remain neutral.

Dude, It is because both Odyn as Havi and Cho have the same VA. That being Jim Cummings.

I doubt Blizzard was doing a “hey, these guys have the same VA, they must be the same character” when Legion came out.

Otherwise Varian and Thrall are the same person because they were both voiced by Metzen. Might as well also throw in Nefarian, Drannosh and any other character Metzen has voiced in WoW over the years.

No, Garrosh didn’t help Baine retake Thunder Bluff. He was off celebrating his win in Orgrimmar when Eitrigg helped him realize Gorehowl was poisoned and then he angst over his sense of lost honor.

The only aid Baine received was funds from Jaina, Fearbreaker from Anduin, Gazlowe refusing extra gold as he got them supplies and maybe mercenaries, and Horde volunteers. Garrosh wasn’t involved in that all.

I’m just getting paranoid over the Edicts of the Prime Designate, Volume 742’s statements!

Odyn implying that everything we know about the Titans is a lie makes me suspicious of the words of anyone who sounds like Odyn giving us evidence of the Mogu being creations of the Titans!

The Mogu are born from the titans. We’ve known since Mists and to help reinforce it, Worldsoul Memory event in Northern Dorn is centered around titan creations and the Mogu do appear amongst them.

Or am I misunderstanding the point that you are trying to make.

Lorewalker Cho is not the only person who said that the Mogu are Titanforged.

Lei Shen basically says that when he dies.
We find something akin to the Forge of Wills in the Mogu’shan Vault. That being the Forge of the Endless
The Mantid have tales on how the Mogu were made by the “usurpers”. Aka the Titans.
We find mogu tablets in the Throne of Thunder for Wrathion that details their origin.

Besides Lorewalker Cho existed in the lore before Odyn did.

The alliance did help Baine retake Thunderbluff. Garrosh just refused to help Magatha when she came crawling to him for help.

It’s in the Shattering novel. Though, I realize Garrosh fans tend to hate reading.

Yea no one in the horde helping baine kinda sucks

I read it, one of the only books I read. To try and make sense of the ingame events at the time since they shoved everything into the book that should’ve happened ingame.

Maybe I just forgot because it makes no sense?
Baine seriously used the Alliance and no Horde troops after he got kicked out of his own city?
I thought the whole reason her movement failed is she expected Garrosh’s assistance but he sided with Baine instead so the usurp was short lived and Orgrimmar troops and Baine just retook it.

It wasn’t that Garrosh sided with Baine - it is more that instead of helping Magatha as planned, Garrosh stayed out of the fray.

He just sort of threw a tantrum when he found out he only won because of her poison, and then turned his back on her.

Baine did have money from Jaina. So, Cho isn’t wrong.

Loyal Tauren retake thunder bluff. Jaina fronts Baine some Money and weapons while Gazlowe rents out his zepplin fleet. Garrosh was too busy sulking. Undead/Belves were a continent away.

This is also why Baine warns jaina before the Theramore attack

Another fun fact, Garrosh was losing badly to Cairne before the poison kicked in and Cairne keeled over dead. If not for Magatha cheating, Garrosh would’ve died, lmao.

Garrosh would’ve pulled a comeback in the end of the fight he was building his rage up

Only to spend it on the wrong ability :stuck_out_tongue:

What did you expect from one of Golden’s books? Anduin and Jaina are her favorite characters, of course they helped Baine and not anyone Horde.

I still can’t get over that they had Baine sprint away from the Grimtotem to Anduin and Jaina. That play had me cackling.
