There are some quests in cataclysm, for example, where you need to use an item in order to complete the mission. Thing is, enemies need to be at 35% health. I’ve tried with rez sickness and no gear, but i’m still hitting for 3x the enemies hp. So, right now, it’s impossible for me to do old content i actually paid for and also enjoy, of course.

i’m writing this because i trust blizzard to change these quests, mainly cataclysm from what i see, in order for people to do them at whatever level. Even if they do this by scaling, it would already be fine for me. I just want to do the content.

Yes, the “weaken” mob quests can be a PITA at max level.

Have you heard of the whole body shrinka toy? I use it for doing achievements in old dungeons and raids since it reduces your damage output a great deal.

There’s also the soft foam sword toy, but it was bugged for awhile and I have not tested it lately.

Does syncing with someone who is leveling and on that timewalking work?
