Loremaster in Chromie Time

Anyone else think it would be cool if you had the option to do each zone at max level without the mobs being trivial? I mean, it would definitely be something to opt into and I wouldn’t want the rewards to scale. But just to have full fights with mobs and engage in the story would make Loremaster fun for me. As of now, it gets pretty boring just insta-cast nuking everything in the zone at once.

Also, there’s the thing where you need to weaken a mob but not kill it. I would like an option other than getting naked and fist fighting. lol

I think it would be great as an opt-in thing! Just don’t take away the lowbie zones for people like me—I’m very easily distracted, so Loremaster is already hard enough to complete without having to sit down for hours to kill mobs in one zone.

Loremaster challenge mode. A shard where not only is every zone max level, but every mob has the same attack patterns and 1 hit kill mechanics as MoP rares.

Title Lore Grandmaster.

You have the option to do them at level. That’s what I did. I doubt there would be enough demand for this.

Lots of people want to be able to design their own personal server type. This is that sort of request.

Levelling my toons this way! Each of them assigned to different region. Slowly finishing it while my main is going to take care of SL stuff.

That sounds fun! To be fair I did this already for many of my toons (have loremaster)

Some of them though especially when you get to Shadowmoon Valley (Outland) you’re probably have a tough time with.

  1. It is not possible to do all of Loremaster “at level” on one character.
  2. I never asked about the demand from the player base for it.
  3. This was a general discussion, hence the general discussion sub forum.
  4. “Lots of people want…” doesn’t negate what I would want, even if I had made a request, which I didn’t. It was an idea that I wanted to discuss.

Was your post to contribute to the conversation or just to generalize it to the closest thing you can think of to use as an excuse to dismiss it?

“This is stupid, I don’t like it,” is what you’re saying. Which is fine, you know, your opinion. But please, do not speak as if you have the entire community at your side. You don’t. And it does not add weight to what you’re saying anyway, which is the reason you did it.
