I’d go with lightforged draenei, personally. They were basically made for that job.

Humans. Before Draenei and lore retcon, Paladins were created by Alonsus Faol to combat The Orchish Horde and secure humanities safety.
And a majority of the most famous Paladins in lore are Humans.

They are just Draenei but more sharp and aggressive.
They don’t really get depressed or feel any type of doubt. They are pretty much always ready to fight.
The whole process was for them to not become “broken” iirc.

When I think of Paladin I think of Tirion Fordring breaking his bonds with the light and shattering frostmourne into pieces with The Ashbringer.
I do not think of magical space goats who worship wind chimes. Or Trolls and talking Dinosaurs.

Representing Tauren Paladin in the presence of Human paladins who want the class to be Human only.

Human is the most iconic Paladin Race.
But I really do enjoy my Zandalari Paladin.
I have an Alliance Human Paladin aswell, who used to be Tauren before I changed her over to Alliance this expansion.

In a perfect world Humans, Dwarves, and Blood Elf would be the only Paladins.
Lorewise Tauren are not Paladins they are sun druids. Though I do like playing as a cow.

Blood elf stealing light magic to suddenly get Paladin to work is not doing it for me.
Their deity/god or whatever is fine but not that part i listed above.
Also i must live in a world where Dark Iron Dwarf and Mechagnome paladin exists.
