Most magical classes don’t have innate power but they channel power that’s in this world.
Paladin and Priest: They channel and ask for the power Light / Naaru. Even Anduin says he ask the light for power and he is afraid that the light won’t answer him.
Shaman: Power of the elements and ancestral spirits.
Druids: Asking the nature for power.
Mage: The remnant power in the world spread by the explosion of the Eternal Well that tore the world apart.
Warlock and Demon Hunter: Warlock made pacts and communions with the demons to gain power, and Demon Hunters become part demon to gain fel power.
Death Knight: Unholy power and Death Knight are literally between life and death.
Hunter, Warrior, Rouge: their power is their own, and some magic abilities’ power came from Odyn or etc.
Where then do Monks get their magical power when it comes to healing? Martial arts for WW and BM, but what about MW? Is Chi truly the power a mortal yields purely from themselves?
Why me of course, my big fat furry thighs have unlimited amounts of chi.

Chi. It uses Spirit energy (itself a sub-type of Life energy), which is the same thing as shamans use. It’s just directed differently.

They are wild spirits, in other words, they are Loa (yes, the Troll ones). So technically yes, they channel spiritual power.

Yep, it’s chi. If you want to align it with WoW cosmology, I think it’s nature. Assuming WoW’s chi has to do with Chakra, they channel it through their physical form from points in their body. I’m not entirely sure if it’s one for one with the IRL beliefs, but one can assume it’s similar.
