The secret treasure with Lord Scowl in the Ember Ward… there is no book. I have done this quest many times in the past… I know how to find the book. It isn’t in any of the cages.

As of 10/2/2022, he doesn’t even offer the option to find the book anymore.
I guess I’ll reply to this, newly venthyr toon and the book isn’t there. It seems like a lot of treasures aren’t where they’re supposed to be.
EDIT:: I think some treasures are only there during Revendreth callings. I was able to get this specific one, along with Stoneborn Satchels, during Revendreth callings, but no other times. I vaguely remember seeing someone else say this in another thread, too.
