In 25 man normal and heroic (I haven’t checked 10 man) Firelands, loot that drops from Lord Rhyolith can’t be traded. This is with groups of 120s. Loot drops and is randomly assigned to party members, but it’s immediately soulbound. Every other boss is fine, loot has the ‘can be traded’ message and can be swapped between party members.
It’s kinda annoying, since, Murphy’s Law, plate inevitably goes to the leather wearer, leather to the clothie, and cloth to the plate wearer, and there it stays.
Can confirm this on 25 person Heroic runs of Fireland, multiple times, reproducible. It doesn’t matter how we slow down damage. We aren’t having any problems looting his body but all loot received is arbitrarily assigned and soulbound automatically, and can’t be traded. Additionally this is not limited to level 120 characters. My wife and I have this problem across all levels of toons, we duo this raid all the time.
This is now officially fixed as of Sep. 25 hotfixes. Yay!!! Confirmed fixed, not just reported as fixed. Have been in, all loot from Rhyolith now tradeable like normal.
