I assume this glyph was just added today. Is it a one time only thing? Like if I remove it can I get it back? Also, when using it, is the green orb just always there? I don’t actively have a soulstone on myself, but the orb is still floating next to me.
Edit - I used vanishing powder on it and the thing is still following me around so maybe it’s just bugged atm
What are you on about? Is this regarding the fight at the end of the Darkmoon Faire business with the initiates? Any information I can find on Lord Banehollow’s Soulstone is for Classic.
When I logged in today I had a new piece of mail in my box that gave me a quest to go to Booty Bay. All I had to do was talk to 1 person to turn it in, but for completing it I got a new cosmetic glyph that gives your soulstone ability a visual effect. Lots of other Warlocks were there too so it wasn’t just me. Anyway. The glyph causes your soulstone ability to create a glowing green orb that follows you around to represent the soul being stored. But mine persisted visually with the green orb even after the buff itself wore off, and also after removing the glyph entirely. It did eventually go away, though.
So I guess really the only thing I don’t know now is if you can get it back if you remove the glyph.
Edit - OK, just saw a comment on Wowhead that you speak with Ph’el Oman’s imp Svat and you can get a new copy of the glyph. That’s the NPC in Booty Bay.

OK. I did the DMF stuff on three locks but don’t recall this at all.
Well I did all that stuff last week as well, and I’ve logged on this character several times since then, but didn’t get the new quest until today.
Did it auto pop or…?
I’m in Booty Bay now but can’t find Svat.
As I said, it came in the mail as a quest item like the DMF stuff did. But apparently not everyone is getting it. You may have to log in/out a few times or wait for the next weekly reset.

I’ll check on the other two locks.
YES. This one had the shady letter.
You can talk to the imp next to him if you dont have it glyphed to get another, this also applies to swapping specs and getting the glyph to let you get it on all three.

The imp Svat gives you a new glyph so long as you do not have one in your bags
It doesn’t matter if your current spec has it glyphed or not only if it is or is not in your bags
Hmm I wonder if they changed it, it wasnt giving me the option when I had it already glyphed. Either way imp gives more
So you can only use it once per character and if you use it, it doesn’t carry over to other specs? Dumb if so. Needs to be craftable or sold by vendor too.
If you change spec, you can talk to Svat (the imp) for another glyph to apply to that spec. You can do this each time for each spec.

GG blizz. Only mail i got was a quest line for the DMF.
Same here. I got it in the mail. Haven’t pursued it yet though.
This is HORRIBLE! How do I get rid of it? Now I always have this distracting glowing green orb following me around whenever I cast a soul stone on me (which is always)? Is there a way to remove it?

I advise being sure you really want it. Whenever you apply a SS to yourself, you have this floating green orb that follows you everywhere, and you can’t get rid of it without removing the SS buff. It is HORRIBLE!

A guildie told me that vanishing powder would work on it, and it did! If you apply this glyph and can’t stand it like me, that’s the solution. And your yak even stocks it.

As I understand it, it will also appear on anyone you give your Soul Orb to.
