Looted a azerite piece with only 4 traits

I looted an azerite piece (370) from the assault in nazmir this morning. it only has 4 traits on it… i thought all gear above 370 looted in season 2 is supposed to have 5 traits.

here is the quote " * Gear from the Battle of Dazar’alor raid, Season 2 PvP, World Quest Emissaries, and the Mythic Keystone vendor will all have the new fifth ring."

notice how it says nothing about assaults. even tho assaults are content of 8.1.

also why didnt the gear of assaults increases with all the other content of 8.1?

Only emissaries and wqs got their ilvl increased, assaults didn’t and 370 azerite gear only has 4 traits, new azerite gear has 5

370 gear has 5 traits… just look at mythic dungeon loot if you dont believe me.

Assaults are CURRENT CONTENT. they came out the same day as darkshore did, and should be updated with darkshore.

I came here to make the same post. I am not sure if this is intended or not, but on all 3 of my toons, there was no 5th ring.

I do not recall seeing anything that stated there was a minimum ilevel for the 5th ring, just azerite gear obtained on or after the 22nd. I wonder if this stuff will still DE or scrap for 12 as well? Or did it get the bonus buff?

I’m going to hold off on the scrap/disenchant for a little bit. I would hate to lose out on the TR

Guild member just confirmed they scrapping for 12.

Now curious to see if it is an over site or intentional.

I was under the impression that after the patch, azurite armor caches would drop 385 gear with 5 rings. The last two days my cache dropped 370 gear with only 4 rings. Am I mistaken?

Well, Blizzard Dev Team already said current assault quests would give rewards from Arathi Warfront, and they also said there would be no update to rewards from Arathi as well as Uldir. With that said, you should get ilvl 370 Azerite gears with 4 rings from those assault quests. I think the Naga invasion quests (which have yet be released) will give 5 rings.

And yes, with the new season, 370-ilvl will only give 12 titan residuums. These are all in the patch notes, which can be found on wowhead.
