Can we please add in some sort of penalty for people wearing off class gear? I’m sick of losing leather gear to hunters and warriors because “iTs mY beSt iN sLoT ToO, bLamE bliZz nOt mEeEEee” like this is absolutely ridiculous and at some point something needs to be done.

Who cares if its BiS for all melee… I have a hard enough time getting my loot against other rogues and druids and rings and trinkets against all other melee… outside of tier I shouldn’t have to worry about rolling against warriors, pallies or DKs… its asinine they need to put in a penalty for plate wearers and mail wearers wearing anything other than plate or mail… its that simple

I mean… it is blizzards fault though. BiS is BiS, you have no more right to it than the next body type 1 or body type 2.
I think a bigger issue is the token distribution with 6 of the most played classes on 2 tokens and 3 of the least played classes in this expac on 1.

I’ve looked up when it has off spec armour as not only an upgrade…but a nice upgrade.
The angle the poster is missing is for dps even plate doesn’t so much need plate if lesser has better stats. In dungeon/raid.
in theory the tank takes all/most punches. the massive dump on armour not as much an effect there. tank is, you know, tanking. Not the dps.
those lessons are covered in advances min/maxing 301 lol. like a few magical weeks for one raid boss in bfa the new wth comp was…2 vengeance DH’s and the rest shadow priests. this owned one boss hard. some crews saw an angle…made it work.
