No Loot trading or sharding!
Loot trading needs to go away.
But the sharidng sounds like a few days to deal with launch, then it goes away.
i can deal with that.
But loot trading needs to go since that will be there for the life of classic.
At the VERY LEAST, it needs to be contained to raid encounters only.

Both Sharding and Loot Trade are anti-vanilla to the core. BFA is available for those to play who are advocating for it. Thanks.
Loot trading is much worse than sharding, especially based on what they've told us about their intentions.
Sharding: Not a guarantee at this point. Most likely limited to starter zones during launch if they decide to use it at all.
Loot Trading: Currently guaranteed to be a Classic "feature". Incentivizes and enables toxic behavior in all areas of end-game PvE content except full guild runs.
Loot trading could absolutely destroy the PUG aspect of Classic by forcing people to shun outsiders and only do dungeons/raids with their guilds. Say goodbye to your close-knit server community.

Completely agree 100% and I wish Blizzard would see this. I was an active PUG player, who enjoyed PVE content a LOT, dungeons especially. I was an active dungeon runner, outside of raids. It was my experience as I leveled up. Going for gear was a big thing.
Do they not realize or care that this affects the PUG community? Okay, I get it. Join a guild and have friends or you're screwed. But why does it have to be that way? It wasn't in classic, shouldn't be now. Even IF I joined a guild, there is no guarantee they'll always be in my level range for a dungeon, or even ONLINE to go with me.
Getting into a PUG was something that happened to me A LOT. So, question for all those out there who don't see this as a problem: Are people who don't mind PUGs and want that experience just supposed to shrug and say "yeah whatever, ruin that memorable experience for me"?
Yeah, even people with plenty of friends and guildmates still usually need a PUG or two for their dungeon runs.11/05/2018 11:02 AMPosted by AidevesGetting into a PUG was something that happened to me A LOT. But with loot trading enabled those PUGs will see 3 guildmates and think "Great, they're going to Need roll on everything just to give it to their friends." And a lot of guilds will probably abuse the system that way because there's no rule against it.
I'll be honest. I find loot trading to be a far more troublesome change than limited sharding. Back in the day, if someone ninja'd, the act was apparent. We would blacklist that player and move on. With loot trading, players can ninja in such a way that only the ninjas would realize it happened. This is unacceptable.
No Loot trading!!!! If this is to save Support costs from Blizzard point of view then just DOT NOT allow it through Support Tickets.
...but please, this is so against Vanialla WoW. If you make a "misclick" then assume what you did and move on. (You may get black-listed for it depending on the severity but this is the risk of doing bad moves! Just don't make these mistakes, they are easily avoidable.)

Sharding isn't needed in vanilla if they stick to the original (correct) population limits.
Loot trading just encourages loot collusion. All because the old system doesn't fit into their support matrix.
