Loot tables in old raids need help

I really think something needs to be done in regards to the loot tables of old content raids especially legion content. The relics need to be removed. It wouldn’t hurt to give us an option to toggle loot drops to disable trinkets rings necks as well . No one likes getting useless crap when doing xmog runs its worse then not getting anything at all

This could hurt people who wish to partake in the Legion twink scene…

lol really tbh i really doubt the legion “twink” population is larger then people that rather get xmogs but also if u read what i posted I said an option to turn off drops

I read it but they’ve never offered a, “turn off,” option in the other stuff.

Very frustrating for a transmog enthusiast, like myself.

It would be nice if you could toggle a transmog option when running dungeons but that’d complete with their time metric.

Imagine if they put you into a ToC style arena and they just sent in boss after boss against you?

Gates could open and dungeon trash could be unleaded upon you between bosses…

…sigh…

Thats why I posted with the hopes people would chime in with ideas and maybe just maybe someone at blizz would care more about the game and players and not about $$$$$ and egos. Ya never know maybe someone will see it. Not like it really took much effort to put my 2 cents down in txt. I just did a mythic argus xmog run and u know what I had 3 bonus rolls on top of the full clear. My loot haul was 1 ring 1 ugly cape from bonus roll 1 Storm artifact relic the most depressing xmog run ever

I don’t consider any of it to be useless crap. It’s stuff I can vendor for gold. Some still use that stuff, too.

We’re lucky we even got Legacy loot. Don’t expect an option for transmog.

it literally vendors for 38 and 41 gold its useless I drop easily thousands on 1 xmog off ah so u know how many of these junk items it takes to make 1 xmog

38-41 gold is still 38-41 gold I didn’t have before. So no, not useless to me.

Everything can be farmed or crafted. Seems like a waste of gold to me. But you do you. If you want to buy it, that’s cool. I choose to farm it. And I’ll sell the stuff I don’t need to acquire more gold.

Nothing is useless.

well if u want to sell crap at 30 - 40 gold a piece u go for it I do things in much larger numbers I got stuff on ah right now almost half mill for 1 thing. not to mention ways I make 12k in less then 10 mins with like no effort so yeah those are garbage

Any amount of gold is a gain. Not even sure why someone would attempt to argue otherwise.

Regardless, my point still stands: it’s not worthless to others and we’re lucky we even got Legacy loot, so it’s highly doubtful they’ll ever give us an option to not have those things drop. You’ll most likely have to deal with your “useless garbage.”

Good luck with your transmog runs. May the RNG gods smile upon you!

Not everyone plays the AH.

thats not playing the ah thats just knowing what u have and not being dumb about what price to sell it at last week sold a boe on ally alt for 400k on ED that i got out of a random normal pug I did in the middle of the night

So… it is playing the AH?

Nice, not everybody can get that lucky.

how is being aware of the value of an item you worked to get then selling it in trade or the ah playing the ah… isnt playing the ah buying stuff that is posted for way too cheap and reposing it at a higher price? With your logic anyone that sells anything on the ah or trade that knows what its worth is playing the ah. But this isnt about that this is about useless outdated drops for a feature that was removed at the end of the last xpac still dropping in raids that are being run for xmog

Wants to make a multiplayer aspect of a game and cater to their single player mentality.

explain to me how adding the option for max lvl toons to disable the non xmogable loot in old content is making that. The raid would drop same amount of loot just xmog gear and thus people in the raid grp could have more trade options I really really am having a hard time with yalls logic here

I’m fine with keeping all the random stuff. It’s a cute reminder of what that xpac was about. And it does sell for a decent amount of gold.

I just wish they’d enable legacy loot once you’re about 5 levels over the target player level, not 11. It really sucks killing a Mythic raid boss in Legion and getting nothing from it. Or better yet, just enable legacy loot if you’re the only player in the group/zone. Plenty of people can solo current dungeons and should get the full loot for their trouble.

If we got the full set of loot, then it wouldn’t matter so much that some of it is weird junk. After a single run, most of the gear is just weird junk anyway, since you’ve already added it to your xmog appearances.

that probably would make it not so bad like I said I went on a full run on my space goat warrior and got a ring and artifact thing I was so pissed. It also wouldnt be so bad if gear could also be used xmog if u have a toon that can use it or something. I dont know it just suck so much when u go on a mage and those plate boots or chest u want or 2 handed axe drops or on your pally and u get a sexy robe

Lets kill off a big chunk of content for some people because i wanna look pretty faster blizzard

just stop

yea, this seems like a completely unnecessary change that would be a waste of development time.
