Will it be personal loot or group loot?
Personally I think personal loot would be better.

I haven’t heard it’s changing, though I will say this group system has been epic fail in my eyes. Give me back personal loot and even personal loot as an option for normal and heroic raids.

Keep it group loot, but let higher item level versions grant all lower versions’ tints so players with greater item level than LFR drops don’t have to slum it for their xmogs.
In the long run it’ll be better for those who only do LFR as those who would otherwise be in there just farming xmog won’t be “taking their loot.”

I hope somebody makes an addon (or does it already exist?) that auto-rolls for you and hides the loot window. Then it will feel just like having PL loot back and nobody who feels like OP will have to get their feelings hurt.
I like this better than turning off inspecting players in LFR. I like to check out people’s gear…just not to decide if I think they “deserve” to roll on something, as that is pretty darn toxic behavior right there.

It will probably be just like it is now: Personal Loot for 5-mans, Group Loot for raids.

That’s actually not true.
With group loot, one person can technically win every piece of loot from every boss with good rolls.
With personal loot, no one could win more than one piece of loot per boss.
I find it quite odd that many people don’t understand this.

Heck no. Big pumpers carrying the group and explaining the fights is well worth losing a few rolls here and there.
People understand it. But it’s not enough of a problem to matter and it’s an advantage everyone has a chance at getting now and then.

Sure, of course, but to the person using this addon, they cannot tell. They don’t see what other people are winning. To them, it would be as if they had PL back. I understand that isn’t the reality of it, but isn’t this all really about feelings anyway, if we are being honest with ourselves?
The person using this addon could in fact also win all the rolls…with the exact same likelihood as anybody else.

Imo they should do personal loot LFR and maybe LFD, group loot everything else.

no, it’s about one person being able to literally win every single piece of loot that drops from every boss.
Realistically speaking, until they added cross-realm gold trading, Group Loot was fine.
Now that people are aware of cross-realm gold trading and the ability to need on items and then try to make money off of other people, it probably needs to just go back to Personal Loot. Having people take Curios and tier/trinkets they don’t need to sell back to other people in the run is scummy behavior.
I guess you’ll have to get over losing.

every time i roll, i get 2’s, 3’s, 5’s, just a bunch of low numbers. 
There’s a difference between happening to get something in PL that someone else might want (and is willing to pay for) and going out of your way to roll for something you obviously don’t need in GL.
I still think cross-realm gold trading was a mistake, and without removing it GL is now tainted. Yes, GL is just the more visible version of PL, I’m aware: I made that same argument before cross-realm gold trading, because before cross-realm gold trading became a thing this wasn’t as much of an issue.
If you’d asked me before cross-realm gold trading, I’d say just keep GL. Now, I’m not so sure that that’s the best option anymore.
How is refusing to give up an item after you win different than refusing to give up an item before you win?
