I’ve never been the type who likes loot reservation. But, I’m thinking about it. Trying to get the first tqo crystals for ubrs, hoj, and Ironfoe. The only people who want to run the dungeons are those who want those items. Some will claim to want to do multiple runs. But, the moment they get it, they suddenly are dc, and don’t return.
It just feels like I’m gearing everyone but me.

Run with your guild. That’s the point of being in a guild, right? I have no problem with people reserving loot in a five man, if they are after the same thing as me I may not join though. In a raid, forget it, but that’s just me.

I been trying to build a guild. People keep leaving, as they hit their 50s, because there isn’t any other 50+ to group with. Which makes the cycle continue. I think I may need to disband the guild, and just join one.

Ouch that sucks, I know the feeling. Been in the similar situations and gave up trying to run guilds a while ago.
Guild-only runs. Problem solved.
And if you’re a tank, then make a list of every one of the DC people and blacklist em.

LFM UBRS everything res.
there problem solved… just reserve. Make a reserve of the reserve… Why should you share the burden everyone else who also needs the item suffers through? After all you made the grp in about 5minutes.

Can’t tell if trolling, angy, being sarcastic, or all of the above.

It’s an MMO buddy. Not course you are there to gear people out. I will do multiple runs with you for the gems in LBRS. When I get mine. Sorry I need to run downstairs and unplug my wifi. Sorry but I am down for helping you gear me. Brb need to bathe my fish.
Sarcasm aside. Sadly there are to many people like that. I would find a guild of people that you like to play with and run with them. Solves the problems with this.

So, without the sarcasm, what are people’s thoughts on loot reservation in dungeons? Assuming it’s advertised as such.
Most will call you out for being a dbag. I know I felt like wanting to reserve shadowcraft legs years ago. When I lost it over 50+ times to warriors, paldains, hunters and druids all wanting for PvP. Other rogues I could deal with.
Reservation is kinda douche. If you do it. Expect to have drama on people calling you out or just waiting longer.
What exactly gives you the right to reserve? Like why the hell is your time worth more than anyone elses if you both do the same dungeon and invest the same time?

Just wanted to pop in. The word is “dilemma.” If English is not your first language, no problem, just wanted to correct the spelling.
The same exact right that gives you to not join his group.

This type of post is hostile, and personally attacking me. The way Hawttie explained it makes sense. Why are you being extremely hostile over a question?
Why is it hostile? I am just asking a question. Just because you have no legitimate answer for it does not make it so.

Just run the dungeon with people who want to do Emperor and hopefully you win the roll. That’s really all you can do other than trying to setup a group that people may or may not join. It’s never a for sure thing either way you look at it.

You said “what the hell” this turns the entire post hostile. I asked what people think about loot reservation, because social standings matter. If I’m uncertain about something, I ask.
Lmao are you for real? Okay, Im sorry I hurt you with my words.
Also what does that have to do with social standings? Eh, long story short is: Nobody likes loot reservers even if they join your run. Its a “privelege” born out of sheer selfishness and the ideology that apparently the “reserver” deserves more than his/her peers for the absolute same effort. Just because you ran the same dungeon 10 times does not mean the other person did not.

It doesn’t hurt my feelings, whatever you say. I find hostile posts to invalidate themselves, by being hostile, instead of being civil. Like as you just posted, you said “nobody likes loot reservations even if they join your run” this is part of social standings. This explanation is helpful.
Well obviously, if you are conflicted about your impression towards others based on reserves, I can assure you that nobody dislikes you that much that it will have any long term repercussions. Unless you dont reserve every item in the dungeon that every other (in your case meele) needs you will be fine.
You are the equivalent of a person trying to hit the garbagebin with your starbucks cup and missing. And instead of picking it up you keep walking. Now if I see that Id personally dislike you but not enough to hunt you down or keep you on ignore for forever. We can still do everything but its not the greatest of impressions.
