Blizzard, can we remove Raid ID’s and make a Loot Lock so that those who are force saved by people quitting raids and or leaving, doesn’t scar players from finishing raids?
How many people are interested in joining a raid thats already 5 bosses down? Not many.
Please, remove raid id locks and make a system similar to retail loot lock, which allows players multiple chances at finishing a raid.
solid system for casuals who can’t attend guild runs, due to schedule conflicts with work and school. Even then, a spot in guild raid isn’t always guaranteed.

Wow … you can’t help yourself, can you? How many threads are you going to make on the same topic?

No. Just stop pugging. Make friends, won’t kill you.

stop harassing me. you’re not making any valid claims as to why this is not a good idea
read what i said about schedule conflicts. thanks
My guild runs BFD every single day. Stop coping and make friends.
I think this would be a good change, specially if gkdp widows really drop middle raid as they said they would do

Ill join and make some of the same ones cause bro actually has common sense regarding the lockout, Current ID lockout is trash and imo promote further ninja looting

Fax no printer and the best part if you make this argument the only defense the players against it have is that its a “retail” change or “Join a guild”

Am I paranoid to think this is a RMT thing being pushed because that as soon as GDKP got banned there are threads popping up about this system that allows for people to essentially carry unlimited buyers through per lockout?
Or am I just too jaded now?
yea this can be a problem that I didn’t think of
you’re not jaded. Sadly, if there’s any way to exploit any system, people will exploit

Again, you’re figuring that everyone is like you and your guild. Why is this a pattern?
Not everyone is like that, or has the ability to arrange a similar schedule to raid with friends and guild, and not every guild has a close knit community where raid spots are guaranteed.
every day? so you play the game on multiple alts? or you and your guild just choose to waste your days in a raid that should take people ~30 mins?
Im talking about the fact not everyone is in a guild or has a group. Your argument of making friends seems to be related to your ability of spending several hours and days on SoD. Am I wrong?
Jaded cause loot lock is what retail has so for example if you kill a raid boss and get the loot you can still do the raid again but you just get “nothing” thats it until reset happens or you do a higher difficulty

No. Go to retail if you want these systems. Classic is not made for casuals, plain and simple. The game was built around guilds and guild raids. I’d like to see even more pushing back towards that. Removing GDKPs was already a great step.
This is an old school, social, group up with your friends and their friends mmo. If you want to pug 10 minutes at a time, you literally already have retail WoW. Stop trying to make every game like the one you want. You already have one. Let us have ours.
Classic is so insanely casual friendly
the only things that would be considered less casual is the gold sink until you actually see the gold sink for retail or try to do keys especially if you dont have multiple tunes or farmed enough gear to play different spec
Classic is baby mode compared to end game content/pvp of retail
I approve of this suggestion. The old raid lockout system is outdated and should be replaced with the better loot lockout system that has been in use on retail for years.
I don’t like retail about as much as the next person, but there are definitely some good things there, and this is one of them.
When J Allen Brack said “You think you do, but you don’t” he was actually talking to you.
You’re not getting GDKPs back.
Sorry.
I don’t see what this has to do with GDKP. Please stay on-topic.
I do.
That’s the important thing.
As someone that did world first runs in TBC and WOTLK classic and has played retail. Retail is insanely more casual friendly. Sure, there ARE hardcore options for retail with mythic content, the existence of LFR and low level keys, normal, heroic raid options, etc. It’s so much easier to gear and clear content. Classic has 1 option and leveling is actually time consuming af.
Retail you can hit max level and get geared enough to do current raid content in a single day of playing. Not possible in Classic.
