Curious if anyone else is having an issue with loot from Incursions. I have just come back to BFA after a bit of a hiatus, and am doing incursions for the catch up 370 loot. I specifically have my loot setting to Elemental, and still got an agility one-hand weapon, the Honorbound Skullcleaver. It showed when I received it that I received the loot for elemental - is this just unlucky, is this weapon erronously placed under Elemental shamans, or just common for incursion to get whatever there is for loot?
I believe that incursion rewards are loot-spec agnostic, much like normal WQ rewards. They filter by class and that’s it.
Its set to pvp rewards. Which means it based on class not spec. Stupid, he’ll yeah. its wow for Peet seeks.
The loot spec thing doesn’t seem to apply.
Thanks all, just wanted to make sure - a bit bummed out I won’t be using this thing, lol.
Nope, it’s based on class, not spec.
I’ve gotten a 1H sword and two shields as Ret so far from them.
I just got my first weapon upgrade (from an assault) since I hit 120 on my Balance/Resto Druid.
It was a 370 agility polearm.
Welcome to all of BFA. Unless you’re in a dungeon or raid, your loot spec is meaningless. You’ll get mostly junk from world quests, warfronts, and incursions.
I think going from fresh 120 to getting a heroic raid weapon is more of a issue for the game then how the drop system works.
Im pretty sure the game is taunting me. On my rogue the first two incursions I did I got 2 370 weapons. One a mace. One a sword. Im am Assassin so I need daggers. The third got me something that wasn’t an upgrade so i said to heck with it and went combat, so I could use the 370 weapons. The fourth incursion got me a dagger…
all i’ve really gotten from them on this warlock is azerite pieces. my shaman got a sweet 365 shield (he’s ele/resto) and then his dropped from 365 down to 355 as his potential upgrade level so i stopped doing them on him. he’s 359 i think?
