Loot from delves is better?

Did loot from bountiful delves make the regular loot system obsolete?

With delves you are Guaranteed loot provided it’s bountiful and you have a coffer key. Other dungeons and raids your lucky to get anything at all. In fact most dungeons and raids You walk away with nothing.

Should the bountiful system be added to other dungeons to reward players for their time?

I’ve got some nice stuff out of bountiful delves at times. I’ve more often got the same drop over and over or drops for the same slot over and over. RNG reward system is a mixed bag at the best of times.

Dungeons and raids give you crests, and those are the real end game of Delves too. Gilded crests to make crafted 720 gear is the goal.

Bountiful M+ or raid bosses with coffer keys would be interesting. But the dinars added in the .5 patch already do something similar.

You can only get 4 a week, while you can basically get infinite hero track from m+ every week.

Raids have the highest quality loot.

M+ provides the highest quantity of loot.

Delves provide the most convenient and time-efficient loot.

Which is “better” will depend on the circumstances of the individual player.

But isn’t that dependent on RNG? You can run 50 or more of them technically but how often are you guaranteed a piece of gear?

But delves give you vault spots which has raid level gear. So once a week through delves and bank you have access to high end gear.

M+ technically has no gear guarantee but also there is no other source of infinite 701 gear so it doesnt really matter whether or not its random. Its worth doing.

So, what do you do with all this wonderful Delve loot if you do not have the resources to upgrade it and Where do you get the most resources needed to provide those upgrades with?

Not factoring in crafted gear which takes resources.

No, I skipped doing delves completely on my main and it’s 711 with 4 myth track pieces.

And they won’t give you access to BiS raid trinkets or boots. So while your delve boots might be hero track, they’ll be outsimmed by a pair of veteran track cantrip boots from raid.

711?!?

I would like to purchase a Slushy, and two pizza sticks.

You kinda wanna do 10s to get Mythic on vault, m+ its kinda random but you can get hero on 6+, at end of the day i would say do w/e its fun for you.

I’m a casual player and to me, doing 10s is the move, not doing mythic raid yet

You can definitely get more than 4 a week now

I think its up to around 6…with the possibility for more depending on WQ rewards

Only if you’re doing Mythic raids, which are far more involved than M+ or delves. Realistically, for most players, M+ gives the highest quality loot.

Delves stop at hero gear. M+ does not, and if you’re raiding Mythic, raids do not either.

Well, not exactly, in regards to the question in the title.

Yes, Delve loot from T8 up is Champ loot, and unlike Raid loot it is automatically bound to you and you alone. The statlines on these pieces can match anything else you’d get at their respective ilvls.

But there’s some caveats. These pieces can never be Tier outside of the Vault, the trinkets can range from ‘passable’ to ‘why do i need so much leech if i’m taking so much damage’. You may not get something that will benefit your preferred statline.

That weekly Hero track piece you can get can just as easily be vendor trash, which isn’t exactly helpful to your cause.

So, yes, Delve loot can be better, to a point, but there’s a ton of variables, more than Dungeon and Raid loot for certain.

Sounds fair enough.

Searching and waiting for a invite for M+ is the worst experience WoW has to offer if you are dps and more so if you aren’t considered meta for the current season. You can walk right into a Delve and do one anytime you wish.

Bro its S3 you just figured that out lol
