again i don’t get lead. i follow my path make my own decisions. the sims said 3 maybe 5% difference between 2hand and dw. thats not a huge dps loss. if it was 10-15% i’d worry. but i’m not, and with smourne as far as i’ve read it still put it over DW. you just don’t want another 2 hand strength user to compete with the weapon. i’ve chose 2 hand because thats what i prefer to play. and i do just fine numbers.

5% damage increase is huge lol. Smourne is a small upgrade from your bis unholy DW set up. You are basing your ideas on bias and feelscraft because you like to rp with a 2h and don’t think that real theory crafters know more than you do when you are literally intentionally taking a 5% dps loss for a transmog of you wearing a 2h lol.

Yep he doesn’t get it that 2 hander is BAD for unholy. Dual wield is a HUGE DPS INCREASE over 2 hander.
The only reason Shadowmounre is not a DPS loss is because it is insane. The other 2 classes will get the full benefit from it, unlike DK.

I must be confused how LC works then. I always thought it rewarded the superior players for the betterment of the raid group? Unless niche role like demo locks, I don’t see how it could necessarily be a bad loot system if you’re giving gear to the best classes and or players of those classes that can utilize the upgrades better.
I’m not basing my arguments off feelscraft. I’m basing it off what’s good. You want to “scourge strike the crap out of enemies” regardless if you take a 5% decrease in your damage. You also refuse to listen to your class discord, only take advice but you “lead yourself”. To me that sounds like you don’t care what’s good, you care what you look like in game.
I agree I prefer loot council in a good guild. I would rather epgp if I was in a corrupt LC but I’m in a good LC and I think it works way better than the other systems. But if I had someone like you who leads based on what’s fun for yourself over real numbers then I would prefer to be in an epgp if the same person was leading it.

There is no incentive for the LC to “do it correctly”, and there is no reason to believe an LC is doing it fairly.
LC is a terrible system that is easy to exploit by the people running it.
At least a point system of some kind has a somewhat level playing field.
The “incentive” is making the guild better. Some people actually enjoy being part of a group and prioritize making the group better over personal gain.
Its incredibly weird to read these arguments about how point based systems are clearly superior. They all read to me as some paranoid kid trying their best to make sure they get their share and looking around worried that everyone else is trying to take their stuff.
That is what they want you to believe when that is rarely what actually happens.
