Fun fact, I was once in a loot council guild that was secretly just using EPGP because it was less work and resulted in less drama.
Loot council is theoretically the best system but in practice it usually sucks. Anyone who sets the bar at “guild leadership isn’t garbage” is deluding themselves and probably part of an inner clique. I honestly think loot council type loot distribution works best with smaller numbers, but runs into real issues the instant you expand it to large numbers.
40 man raids mean that there are going to be people you don’t know that well in the raid. 40 man peoples means that you are probably going to want to convince people you don’t know to raid with you. Are you really going to convince some random to join your loot council guild when they know the core has been friends for years?
