I have tried getting the horseman’s reigns since 2009 or so. Can we please have the loot chance increased on WoTLK Classic, as it appears no one will play after 1-2 years? Lol.

Supply and demand. The rarity is the biggest reason it has any value.
The new Kalu’ak mount looks really cool, but the fact that every zoomer got it by swiping their parents’ credit cards makes it a token of shame more than anything. It’s basically the equivalent of going to some big event and buying a gigantic foam cowboy hat at a booth and becoming one of the many people wearing it like it’s some uniform. Rarity is a good thing.

So glad I finally got this.
I feel ya. I threw at least 10 alts a day at him for over 10 years. Got it last year.
I wasn’t even excited when it dropped, just breathed I sigh of relief.
It’s a pixelated mess by today’s standards, but it still made it into my favorites rotation. 
So i doubt people will believe this but a guildmate and I pugged HH last season in TBC and it was the second to last day of the Halloween event. Amazingly the headless horseman dropped twice! Once on the 2nd summon and once on the 4th summon. My guildmate and I both lost our rolls for the mounts. The chances of a double drop are astronomically low but it happened. Gl on your mount drops everyone.

Imagine thinking that there is a significant number of under 25 year olds playing this game.
Most people you see on that mount are middle aged.
I have killed HH hundreds of time and only seen the reins drop a few times
It dropped for me once WAY back in the day. My guild mate wanted to buy it from me and I refused and he was sooo salty… Little did I know then how scarce it is…
I won’t run for it on classic since I have yet to obtain it on retail.
