With the release of classic will the loot cards come back? If not how are the in game items obtained that were released with the TCG?
I would be unsurprised if they did a limited edition run of them.

It would be cool if they released some new cards that applied to Classic.
But the original ones apply to the original game, and they still work there.
I loved that thrill if I was going to get something.
I was too young to even know anything was going on or else I would have bought hundreds of packs… god if I could go back in time.
I would not put it passed Blizzard to re-release the TCG collectors cards in a “Retro set” and most likely tie them into HearthStone somehow. But, for anyone who already owns the original cards, and claimed them in Retail, you are going to be SOL because those codes are unlikely to be useable in Classic.

Got burnt by Tragic the Blathering. Refused to buy loot cards even though I’d have enjoyed the turtle.

I managed to get one for the tabard of the frost. I loved it just because it was an epic tabard that few could say they had.

Man…I have tons of unopened packs from that game - and a whole lot of loot cards that I never scratched because I just didn’t care. I should check those suckers out sometime, though.
I wish they would bring the TCG back…it is WAY better than the dumpster fire that is Hearthstone.

I have a ton of the loot on reg warcraft, what would be nice is the chance to one-time buy the loot you already claimed from the booty bay merchant for gold as a “thanks for supporting us” when the card game was still being played. The codes are saved to your account after claiming them, wouldn’t be hard for them. I would love to have all the tabards, turtle mount, spectral tiger and all the other goodies I had
