ICC opened October, SoD (with a level 25 cap) dropped November. Totally possible to play SoD and finish the last raid of WotLK if you still hadn’t finished it by then.
SoM (with no level cap, MC/Ony open, and rank 14 available from day 1) dropped middle of TBC and it didn’t cannibalize TBC… it just left SoM with few long-term players because it was too much work to raid on both.
Its clearly a streamer pump and dump meant to attract people who dont play wow to come play HC or a few months.
It makes zero sense from a current subscribed persons point of view. It scratches no itch and is not meant for people like you or me.

If it’s so fun why is nobody playing like that already? HC was a community effort initial, why can’t SF HC be too specially since there is in-game support for the mode already?
Only if they give us a regular TBC server too, HC TBC is a waste of time but if people wanna bash their heads against mobs that triple windfury in a single global while hitting harder than raid bosses then sure go ahead.

Because people like playing official things. That’s why private servers never have the population official servers do even though they’re arguably better.
An official solo self found hardcore server would be huge.

HAHAHA yes they do. As someone who just leveled on a fresh account in Era, yes, yes they do. In fact they affect the economy so much I pretty much got my epic mount for free without the direct help of any said player. In fact I make 2k gold every day or two in era, without using any professions, dungeon farm, gdkp or boosting.
Theres like 10 or so different reasons as to why experienced toons affect the fresh experience. I just don’t feel like listing them, but I will if you persist on forging up a dumb reply.
