So in the last 2 hours I went from
10138 in queue and 656mins expected wait time
to
7936 and 41 mins.
Maybe they have increased the number of shards? Anyone else seeing similar?
There was from what i heard a massive DC
I think the estimates are also broken, after my d/c my queue pos has been pretty consistently going down but the estimated time jumps up and down by large amounts
Oh bugger… that will be my luck too… get in after hours of waiting for 10mins play and a DC.
I’m on OCE PvP if the DC was only for NA hosted servers.
Just wait, it’ll go back up. Mine fluctuates between about 6 minutes and 300+ minutes.
Estimates have been totally broken from the start - don’t pay them any attention. I got stuck at ~1800 on Incendius for nearly 40 minutes (maybe they throttled the number of people allowed on the server at once?), but at ~1000 the huge DC hit and I sped to the character select screen in like 60 seconds.
Pretty sure the est time means absolutely nothing, I was at 17k in queue and it said 15m
Well… thats not ideal… Maybe the massive swings in queue times are due to the mass DC’s like Mightymuffin said.
I would think that’s also there’s people moving out of the starting zones, lessening the server load. By now, there should be people out in the 2nd leveling areas like the Barrens and Westfall or even the third like Redridge.
It does seem that watching your “Position in Queue” is a better gauge of how long you will be in the Queue.
I’m just going off the comment from the AMA where they said they can create and remove layers to match demand. Was hoping they finally saw that the demand was so high they needed to increase the limit on layers to a much higher number.
Yeah I see i went back up to 7725 in queue with 759 mins…
As we don’t have a blue post anywhere on the forums regarding the queues I can only assume that the comments above are more in line with reality.
this is what happened to me sat in que 4hrs 30 mins played not even 10 mins disconnected when to get back in to another 9330 person que so another 4 hr wait here I am
