Looks Like the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur might Be Unobtainable In 9.0.1 (Part 1)

There is a guarantee that there is a chance it will, there is no guarantee that it actually will.

NO, there is a GUARANTEE IT WILL SHOW UP THERE. Every DAY it has a chance, but it WILL show up there.

You have no way of knowing. There is a chance that it will. But if the dice don’t roll that lucky rng number it may never show up.

If there is a chance, it is NOT guaranteed. It is only guaranteed if it shows A HUNDRED PERCENT OF THE TIME. Also, even if it showed up every day, it would still be artificial scarcity, because ONLY ONE PERSON COULD GET IT EACH DAY, that is, a max of 365/6 people every year per realm, which is not going to happen. Most likely, this mount will show once or twice per year on each server, which would amount to less of 500 people worldwide per year. It is NOT the same and it is NOT guaranteed, no matter how you look at it.

I do know. All items on the loot list DO SHOW UP THERE. And no amount of you trying to say it won’t will make it not show up there, stop being ridiculous.

Not sure you know how chance works? In theory it’s impossible to never role a 100 in a lifetime. Not saying it’s likely. But it’s more then possible. So unless bliz has a system where things come in a hidden queue rather than randomly, or bad rng protection against items that haven’t shown up in awhile it is theoretically possible to never show up, at least not on your server.

Stop, stop, stop…just stop. EVERY item on the BMAH loot table has shown up there, stop trying to pretend like it won’t happen, it’s not helping your argument and you are being ridiculous by even stating something like that.

omg it is guaranteed it will show up - there is only a chance it will show up weekly or monthly.

The only way it will show up there is if rng determines it will. If there is a 1% chance for it to show up and the random number generator never lands on that 1 correct number out of 100, then it will never show up.

OMG stop with the hyperbole. You all look ridiculous saying this crap. IT WILL SHOW UP THERE.

If in your world it won’t show up there, then i guess you are SOL. Better get it before Shadowlands comes out then.

OMFG, do you know how probability works?
The MORE things there are in a list, the LESS probable it is of them showing up.

Ok, you go with that argument, while the rest of us don’t live in bizarro world where this mythical 100 never gets rolled…EVER.

Another out of touch decision, not that I would save 5mil but I’m sure it was a goal of others.

And that is the meaning of chance. I’m glad you finally understand. There is a chance that it never gets rolled. Which means there is a chance that it never shows up.

Edit: on a side note, is the word chance starting to sound weird to anyone else?

BUT THEY ALL SHOW UP EVENTUALLY. Stop with the ridiculous argument because you are upset. If you really think this is a thing NAME ME ONE ITEM ON THE BMAH LOOT TABLE THAT HAS NEVER SHOWN UP.

He has the mount, you don’t. He probably has a better understanding of that BMAH and gold in this game that you people who don’t have it.

Nop, math do not work like this.
Only with bad luck prevention, it could never show up.

NO. THEY. DON’T.

Probability works like this, dude. There is a chance of something happens, but it is not guaranteed it will happen. You can have rainy, sinny and cloudy days, that does not mean that every day will be a guaranteed sunny day, nor that it will be a rainy day. You can have a whole month of rain, but it is most likely not.
The less probable result is the least likely to happen.
If there are 100 numbers in a table and you need to roll for a 75, there is a 99% chance THAT YOU WILL NOT, which means that 1 dice roll every 100 will most likely be 75. You could roll 2 75s in a row, but his is the LEAST LIKELY SCENARIO. You could also roll 200 times and do not have a single 75 out of it.
Go back to basic math, dude.

Do we even know that bmah is a straight RNG system ? Or are you guys arguing this just assuming it is.

I actually don’t think it is myself.
