Gee, you know, that’s very much a bit of irony. Because it applies to Blizzard and how they view us. Wallets to be consumed, and in this case they’re being very obvious about it.
Well, now I’m actually really and truly ticked off.
I’m not even going to bother going into the many reasons why this is an absolutely crummy thing to do–I’m sure many of the posters here have brought them up. I’ll just say that Blizzard’s stock with me has dropped drastically.
Someone over there probably concluded this would help prop up that precious MAU metric of theirs - or at the very least, increase token sales. Win-win for them, lose-lose for us.
I jokingly refer to this as the Trust Factor.
For many, their Trust Factor has hit the negative levels. Moves like this only push it further into the negatives. That’s not a good place to be if you want to keep your customers.
Maybe we’ll use a Wallet of Azeroth in Shadowlands as our next artifact, and it only functions if you’re using cash subscriptions.
Don’t give them ideas. Though they’ll probably call it the Bag of Azeroth or the like. They can’t be TOO obvious.
Yeah I guess I just feel like we’re well past the point of diminishing returns on how much lower their reputation can go. Not saying each cut isn’t a cut - but at some point, the corpse has lost pretty much all blood to the point where any additional cuts won’t make it bleed anymore.
Blizzard has become Sylvanas comfirmed?
At this rate you are going to dig so hard and far Blizzard you are going to hit Chin…
OOOOOOOhhhhh
No way - Sylvanas just offs people swiftly.
Blizzard keeps milking them dry for as long as possible.
Nice one Activi… I mean “Blizzard”, gosh it’s so hard to tell the two of you apart these days.
This is the fault of the majority of you. You have set a precedent for Blizzard to remove content again and again from the game because of your own greed ,arrogance and obsession.
You have all been happy to show off , advertise and gloat about all the things others couldn’t have and condone and defend Blizzards actions and it’s come back to bite you.
The players that already have the mount or have enough gold to last a lifetime don’t really care and won’t care until blizzard decided to take away something they want.
There is no reason to remove any content from the game it should be available for all players present and future that’s what we pay for.
You would be very wrong in that assumption, sorry. Some of us save up our gold slowly.
I personally don’t care about the vendors on the mount–I wanted the model to ride. If there were another version of it without the vendors, I’d be all over that in a heartbeat–as long as it didn’t cost 5 million gold and was being removed next year.
I smell a wave of 10,000yr bans incoming
This is true.
Players have to speak up and say pruning is not okay.
Hey, they are unpruning spells, but at the cost of pruning mounts, it seems.
With some of the choices they’re making the idea of being essentially perma banned doesn’t have the same sting. Not that I WANT to be banned but with Ion being like an obstinate child on flying and this I wouldn’t be too surprised.
Bull. Because the difference between exclusives in the past was everyone had a warning the moment the content came out. Mage Tower, Challenge Modes, PvP rewards, AotC Mounts, Achievements, all of them had a warning.
It’s not the players who are at fault.
Except for the fact that patch 8.3 is just grinds on top of grinds . New artifact essence slot. Artifact levels increasing along with legendary cloak grind and grinding momentos for anti corruption for corrupt forged gear. Yikes.
Whatever it takes to generate “player activity” for shareholders
