Looks Like the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur might Be Unobtainable In 9.0.1 (Part 1)

It’s your money, but honestly, unless you’re a multi-millionaire, I’d advise against it. In fact, I’d advise against it regardless, as it may give Blizzard an excuse to push the envelope of shady monetizations even further than they have already… They’re using the old tactic of FOMO.

If a lot of people are dense enough to actually spend real money on a store mount and start buying lots of tokens the amount of gold you will get per token will start to drop.

That’s one of the tin foil theories for this move. Token prices have gone up almost 100k since vanilla because less people want retail gold so less tokens for sale on the AH. So they’re trying to create a FOMO situation to drive demand for tokens from the store.

And something to keep in mind. Tokens are $15 dollar gift certificate that blizzard sells for $20.

Lmfao. This is moving along even faster than I expected it to. People are still struggling with the definition of the words “need” and “want” though. Same with being “forced” and voluntarily “choosing” to do something.

This situation is absolutely exceeding my expectations.

Don’t be silly buying the mount could easily be a better investment I mean have you ever heard of that mount waking up and saying it doesn’t love you anymore?

I think you might have a bigger problem on hand. After all, you seem to be

Just hope op isn’t one of those people who complains about not being able to buy a house while throwing money at pixels.

Maybe now I will be able to afford to buy some tokens in game. I got a decent chunk of gold saved up. Well decent as in 150k per faction… just enough to do nothing lol.

that’s pretty funny considering how many shop items you own.

I can barely afford my avocado toast…:man_shrugging:

I guess it depends on your job but making money is easy enough.

If you love WoW and you love your job just do like 1-2 days of OT and easy dinosaur.

I actually need the latter too… considering house prices.

I’ve only played in Linux, since the Burning Crusade (deleted my last windows OS then, “Vista” (EWWWWW…) )

So I’m not allowed to buy ANY

I guess Blizzard just doesn’t like to make money; They sell all the mounts and stuff, that I buy, in the web site store. For some odd reason, the token is only sold in the game (where currently, in any variation of Linux, you get just a black screen for the store.)

I would have actually bought several tokens, this last week, to get the gold to buy the jellys for the bee mount. YOU SNOOZE you LOSE, Blizzard

Wrong.

Hell I’d settle for a 10pc spicy chicken nuggets…

This is why ActiBlizzard did what they did.

Even if they don’t say anything about the gold sink mount in Shadowlands,
expect them to do the same thing next expansion.
Next time, you won’t have any excuse like “I wasn’t told from the get go”, because its too obvious at this point…

Wouldn’t you need to be a girl first tho? because we all know girls don’t play MMO right, right?

I’ll take a steak or some sushi, please.

Yes OP please spend all your hard earned money on getting the gold to buy the mount, it means more money for Blizzard to keep making great games.

I mean geez, I’ve never played a game that’s had 9 expansions before…that’s just not normal…

As someone who pays for my wow sub every month via gold, I can assure you that token prices have not gone up 100k since classic launched. 50k, sure, maybe, not 100k no.

Actually, I just checked the price history, as of right now, we’re up 40k from the day before classic launch. So, yeah.

If you dont think you can make 5 million gold by Shadowlands, well then…

My striders did that.

One day it’s all good, just running around doing the strider thing, and then the next day I’m swimming on a bug.

For a $500 dinner I’ll “identify” as a girl, eat said $500 dinner, go home, and then “lose your number”.
