They talked about PvP relative Item Level for PvP Gear (similar to what we had back in WoD). The idea they are discussing is shifting back from how PvP gear worked back then, when there were 2 item levels, so gear went up to Item Level 232 in PvP, making it the best to wear in PvP scenarios.
I for one love this. WOD had the best solution for pvp gear
I seem to recall early in the shadowlands development cycle that Ion said there would be PvP vendors, and gearing would be like wod. I’m having trouble trusting him at this point.
PvP gear already appears to be the best for PvP in the overwhelming majority of cases.
Is this going to do anything to manage the power gap in PvP or can I go ahead and just not care about this? Any plans to reduce the honor/conquest cost of gear for our alts?
I read it as filling/moderating power gaps via WOD style increments.
WOD is a better community reference to this comparison in differences, they could have used other expansions too imo.
Wrath will be sold back to us soon enough.
So if I understand this right, they’re going to make pvp gear scale up in ilvl? And hopefully this means they set the gap between honor and conquest gear to a small number?
