Looks like no Thanksgiving for me

Well, now at least we have something to say when people ask us what we are thankful for.

Jokes on you, here we’re not allowed to visit family.

Be happy you live in the USA and have a Constitution.

Unless you live out of state how much time do you guys really spend on Thanksgiving?

Most of my family Lived in the same state so we would all drive to someones house and spend the day there, heading home at the end of the day. Wondering if that’s the norm or not.

I live in Canada so don’t have Thanksgiving then
I’m not sure I’ll be buying it, and if so, I’ll be fighting the login boss, followed by plenty of bugs as trash.

WOW. Sorry but that is kind of sad you need to choose a video game over your family? Also, last I checked Thanksgiving is on a Thursday. That is ONE day. If you travel to see family then oh noes you miss a week or so of a video game which will still be here when you get back.

Why do people feel like they have to rush through everything asap that they feel if they miss 1-7 days after launch that they will be so far behind that they may as well quit?

Good lord people.

I’ll be staying home instead of visiting family, but I’d have to fly to Hawaii or Florida… so I’m not really choosing the game over the family. Just choosing my safety over getting on a plane during holiday seasons.

It’s really the only thing that keeps this country from going full Fascist or Communist.

People can be outraged by anything. I think most of the negative statements here are just how people project themselves onto the world

Quarter million deaths. Sadly, the constitution didn’t protect us there.

I’m that old.

I think many people will be skipping thanksgiving this year for a singular, unrelated reason.

We have more deaths by capita than even New York state here. Be thankful your Constitution protected you at least from the more stringent lockdowns, because they ain’t doing squat to protect from deaths and cases.

Yep. I project myself by promoting family over video games especially on a family holiday.

Other parts of the world who don’t celebrate this holiday say hello.

What about video games about family?

Thanksgiving is a 10 shadowlands will be a 2, I pick thanksgiving .lol, plus Thanks giving is Thursday November 26.

I don’t see the big deal about this. If you are having a big family get together, you’re endangering the lives of your loved ones. If you want to avoid eating/taking off your masks, then that is a bit safer, but not foolproof. As much as I would love to spend time with family and friends, it just isn’t a good idea, anywhere. This is probably the best time to do it. People off of work, mostly. People stuck at home (if you’re being safe), and people are bored out of their minds.

Just my opinion. Doesn’t make it right, or wrong. Cheers to hoping it’s a good release! /fingerscrossed.

Then don’t play? No one ever kicks down my door and punches me if I do not play.

Same! This is rough. My grandmother’s health is declining and can’t get to see her due to the 1,000 miles between alone. That’s not even taking into account the other issues at hand. Just glad she has enough of her mind to know it’s not because I don’t want to be there with her…

Stay safe and hope you have a good holiday season, considering the circumstances.

You’re going to skip Thanksgiving because a video game releases two days before?

If you can’t step away from your computer for half a day to spend a holiday with your family then you have much bigger issues than the SL release date.
