Requires a specific set of pets that have to be 25 and I don’t engage in the pet battle system. Real nice to include a requirement from a niche micro system to get this thing.

Well, the 25 thing isn’t too hard since you can just BUY leveling tokens. But I feel ya, I hate pet battles.

Limiting myself? Why should I engage a system I don’t find amusing? If there is something you don’t like to do do you still go out and do it even though you find it a waste of time and gain nothing of value from it? You may like pet battles but i don’t find it enjoyable.

nope. that’s PvP for me. I don’t like it, I don’t do it, and I accept that I won’t get the rewards from activities that include it.
when it comes to pvp, I absolutely self-limit myself. Just like you’re doing here with pet battles.
difference is, I don’t ree on the forums when there’s something I want locked behind pvp

It’s really not that bad. Don’t fight it and just follow an easy guide to get the pets, get the fast-track level up, and do the pet battle. It’s actually quite simple and you won’t have to tell anyone about your pokemans.

I don’t pet battle either, but it took maybe 45 minutes to round up a few pets and buy the stones to level them, then do the battle 3 or 4 times til rng was in my favor to win it.
It’s honestly not a big deal. You either want the mount enough to do it once, or you don’t.

It’s the restrictions on which pets can be used. One even requires you to level a class to obtain. It was created to be a wall that needs to be grind through.
You don’t have to enjoy it to do it just enough to get the reward you want and never look back. This game has always included GRINDS that are sometimes exhausting and even become tedious at times to get things that are cool. If you choose to quit that grind, that’s on you.

I dont find heroic or normal raiding all that amusing. I work harder in a mid tier key than I ever do any heroic raid boss including Queen.
I still do it because it has objectively bonkers powerful items and the people are cool. I’m more proud though of having keystone portals and DEFINITELY worked more for them than AOTC.
In fact I’m more proud of my t11 delve clears than I respect raiding difficulty achievements. Raiding is just too mechanically simple and easy.

I don’t particularly enjoy doing old raids and one-shotting everything. Nonetheless, I do it because I want those pimp 'mogs and mounts.

WOWHEAD gives you a list of pets you can farm and even the battle sequence so you don’t need to know how to pet battle.
Pet battle is one of the more straightforward parts of the felcycle quest chain.
