Looks like Blizzard doesn't want to deal with the burning of Teldrassil storyline

  • Tyrande’s story will continue a piece of the burning of Teldrassil in Shadowlands. The war started in BfA is not over in her eyes.
  • We may encounter many who fell during Battle for Azeroth in the Shadowlands.
  • The team knows there is an unresolved story with Teldrassil and plan to continue it in future stories, not necisarrily in Shadowlands

Sounds to me like they are sweeping the events of the burning of Teldrassil under the rug. Small mentions of it here and there so that they can say that they haven’t forgotten about it. Possibly continuing the story after Shadowlands, but not entirely in Shadowlands? Seems kind of lame to me, Blizzard.

seems hard to deal with the tree burning when you’re worried about the sundering of the plane b/w life and death.

We’re not talking about an apple tree here. We’re talking about the tree that literally kept the old Gods imprisoned.

Not to mention the war crimes for killing thousands, if not millions, of innocent civilians.

sure, but again, the literal barrier between life and death has been broken

I’m just saying, can we atleast send an inspection and repair crew down to see if the prison is still holding up to code?

They mention it, therefor it is not forgotten.

That giant sword however…

Spoilers:

Tyrande learns the meaning of friendship and forgiveness from the Blonde-Wonder. The burning of Teldrassil was necessary and we rescue the Night Elven souls from the Maw. 90% chance they are resurrected in Ardenweald.

Story time over.

Well of course not. They’re not going to give us any actual comeuppance for it, so what purpose would it serve? Much better to ignore it until they need an idea for an expansion on the quick and break out the Horde vs. Alliance stuff again.

The what now? World trees don’t… do that. In fact, the one in Northrend was corrupted specifically because it was too close to Yogg-Saron’s prison.

What is “b/w” ?

I also would like to forget BfA ever existed, unfortunately it does exist.

In the context it’s used I think it’s between

I don’t know what we’re going to do about that. Maybe build shopping malls around it? Give Sargeras parole if he agrees to pull it out?

Get some pickaxes and start mining that thing so that we can re-power our artifact weapons.

Can we just not plant another tree there ?

So what your saying in short is that the Night Elves are being screwed over?

hmmm. Very well then.

Carry on.

Not without a vial of eternity which I think all 7 have been used in various circumstances.

Yes they definitely need to do something about the sword. Its made that barren wasteland Silithus even more of a eyesore  Edit. On second thought maybe the sword was an improvement lol.

Blizzard: The events of Teldrassil will be brought up in Shadowlands, and also in future expansions. It will be a large part of Tyrande’s future story.

People: Wow they really want to sweep this under the rug.

I don’t get it?

They already brushed it under the rug at launch when you couldn’t even see the burning happen

A “piece” of it will be brought up in Shadowlands.

My eyes, they bleed!
