Looking to upgrade PC (Opinions)

Hey everyone, so I’m looking to upgrade my gaming PC to something new. My budget as of right now is around $2,000. I’m looking for something sleek and want to upgrade to having 3 monitors from having just one. I’m not good with building PC’s and my last PC I purchased from ibuypower about 7 years in the past. It’s has lasted me until now with the exception of having to replace the water coolant on it. The only gaming I really do is play Wow and nothing else. I appreciate any input that you can provide me. Thanks!

" OMEN by HP Obelisk Gaming Desktop Computer, 9th Generation Intel Core i9-9900K Processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8 GB, HyperX 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD".

Price tag is $2,000 on the dot.

Thanks Rayrise!

Any other suggestions? I want to look at all options possible!

i use cyperpowerpc (simmilir to ibuypower). if your budget is 2k, youve got options. i just bought one with 32gig ram, 2080 super, and i7-9700k (and some extras) for about that. really it depends on if your trying to get 3 moniters and comp for 2k, or if you allreadly have the monitors you need. i picked up a decent one from best buy (180 on sale 110), think 24 in. but if you want it looking at its absolute best you might need to go higher (it was for a deffrent comp, not sure if it can handle the refresh rate my new one will put out).

that one that [Rayrise] posted isnt too bad. acttually, other then the cpu, its close to what im getting, so i would recomend it as well.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the 3 monitors lol I only have one as of right now, but I could go higher on the budget. I just wish I understood computer parts more than I do right now that’s why I was hoping someone could provide me with a build.

Not totally sure if you’ll get 7 years out of anything you buy now. There’s a rapid change in hardware now that AMD is dishing out high core CPUs and all GPU vendors are working on ray tracing.

If you’re going to get 3 monitors then your bottleneck will be display connectors and drivers. Unless you find an Nvidia card with 3 displayports you can’t use Gsync with 3 monitors. AMD cards have had problems with 3 monitors with latest drivers with Freesync.

What kind of experience do you want from WoW? 3 monitors running at something like 5K is not small feat for computers today. A 2080 TI won’t be enough for smooth gameplay at all times.

forgot to mention, but another resource to use is pcpartspicker. the group there will have more in-detail knowledge of this, and will help with figureing out prices.
