Howdy-do there neighbors, I’m looking to get off of Wyrm and wanna know how its like here in Emerald Dream? How’s the rp alliance and horde side? Are there people who raid casually? Just curious because I kind of don’t want to go to Moon Guard. Any info helps!
There is a lot of RP based PvP. A good bit of casual RP events are hosted and in general throughout ED on both factions. There are quite a few casual and more committed hardcore/semi-core raiding guilds. ED is worth it.

If you think WRA is bad, you definitely won’t like Moon Guard. It’s full of virtue signaling SJW’s that think they control the sever like they are some authority. You either kiss their ring or they harass and attack you. Those same people play Horde on WRA. Their is RP. Some is based off of WPvP but I have find others in straight up PVE too. We do a bit of everything in our guild. We haven’t raided in a while, although we do mug runs, and that’s clearly not the same as actual raiding.

I know that we are labeled an RP realm but make no mistake, Emerald Dream is still trying hard to hang onto its RP-PvP roots.
Most if not all RP is hiding within the various guilds. You won’t find any SW markets or walk-up RP here. Most recent attempts to hold RP events have ended up including open invites to the other RP realms in game.
There is still a very good group of players here but most of the active RP guilds have moved on and found greener pastures on the larger, more active realms.
Hard to predict if DF will ignite what’s left of the Emerald Dream RP community.

Oh and by the way we have a Discord that I and a lady in our guild helped to setup. It’s a round table on all things and I set it up so that guild leaders can moderate too. It can’t be a round table if you don’t set up the chairs and fill them with butts!

Most of the roleplaying guilds transferred off of Emerald Dream to either Moon Guard or Wyrmrest Accord over the past few expansions. The guild I am in transferred at the beginning of Shadowlands. My wife and I still play our characters here because of how empty the world is and we can level up characters without seeing someone else.
Clan Battlehammer is a great rp guild, dwarf only, they’ve stuck around and do a couple of call to arms each week where they gather for some rp and skull crushing. They have been a core of Emerald Dream for YEARS.
Honestly though sounds like Ashen Vale would be a fit for you. They are rp casual, had both a serious and casual raid, and did some casual pvp/wpvp. Unfortunately… they just transferred to Moon Guard to begin Dragonflight.

I remember doing PvE content here as Alliance and at various points in time I could not believe all the Horde that I was seeing at the time. I always see tons of Horde.
Come join ED build the RP community up. I just MG and WRA myself so I know the feeling. I just went ahead in moved my main and changed his name and started fresh. Either horde or alliance is noticed the people here are friendly enough. Im in alliance so hit me up if you want some rp to happen man!

Its a server with a long history of Rp-PvP based events. have patience. especially with the old guard who still tend the server. we mean well. it takes us a while to adapt to change. but hope old people jokes aside. I hope to see you around at rp events in the future.
