I’m looking to transfer from US to Oceanic to cut my latency down to a 10th of what it currently is. Australian playing on US realms. This far into the game I’ve not really had need to swap, but it seems like a good time, and after playing Remix I realised just how slow looting is on my home realm, Dragonflight’s races are 6 seconds shorter on Oceanic than US for me making a huge difference in my score, and with TWW added more Mage Tower like challenges I figure if those other things are that affected by latency the Mage Tower is probably also handicapped by 230 ms, so may as well move.
I’m a Horde player, I mostly play outdoor/solo content (world quests, collecting, rare killing). No real aspirations for dungeons or raids. I would like to engage more with the work order system if I can, but that’s not a dealbreaker.
I was wondering what Oceanic realm would be recommended in those situations.

i am doing the same but for me was like 55 toons, i just buy character transfers each time they have a sale and here in new zealand thats like 128 dollars for 6 or 8 haha cant remember but it is expensive, i went us toons back when i worked as i was a shift worker and now retired back on oceanic realms and omg its so so much better, latency from high 200plus down to 40 ish, am on amun thul i prob spell that wrong but its a nice busy realm and am also a solo player 
I wound up going Barthilas, hoping it’ll help when I wanna do warmode stuff, but pretty cheesed off I waited for a sale for months, finally bought the transfers so I had time to set all my addons up from the shift, and then a week and a half later they finally did a sale and they don’t do compensation anymore
As a long time subscriber it really sucked they couldn’t just give me a bit of credit.

That’s normal it’s same as buying a game on steam then it’s on sale
Or buying a game on Xbox and then it gets announced for gamepass
They don’t refund you for those it’s unfortunate but it’s just the luck of the straw
